Holy moly, Rep. @jamestalarico raised a point of order on the Senate amendments to HB 3979, the bill that would ban educators from teaching critical race theory. The point of order is sustained, killing the Senate amendments (I believe), and the bill goes back to the Senate.

Multiple agencies are still processing the scene in Belton where they found human remains yesterday. At a press conference this morning, An attorney for the Guillen family said they believe those remains are Vanessa Guillen’s, but officials have not identified them yet.
