S/o to my amazing sister @magalicious45 who (along w her classmates) cooked an AMAZING five-course dinner for her final for culinary school! Her chef has taught a previous Top Chef winner, and he leaned over to say “your sister is amazing. She’s going places.” I agree!

I'm at the #txlege House Criminal Justice Reform committee hearing to discuss the Melissa Lucio case, who was convicted of killing her daughter in 2008 but maintains her innocence. Her execution is scheduled for April 27.

Many of the 4th graders who died Tuesday received honor roll awards that very morning. All of them were beloved by their family and will be profoundly missed. 21 deaths isn’t just a number, it’s 21 people who were loved, who lived lives and should have had lives yet to live.
