7/17/22 11:38AM Caller from Plymouth St. concerned about a yard sale that is selling a dog. The dog is caged, directly in the sun with no water. Officer reports the dog is a stuffed animal.
9/1/18 7:49pm Cell call reports car is swerving over the center line and
driving erratically. The vehicle would slow and speed up for no reason. Party checks out ok. Operator was eating a Friendlys ice cream cone while en route to Burger King.
3/5/21 11:42AM Caller reports his 87 yr old father was supposed to meet him for his COVID shot and could be missing. Father located at Twin River Casino.
5/24/19 3:47 pm 911 call from female rptg drunk male jumped out the 1st floor window & may be trying to get more alcohol. Cruiser reports male not drunk, was just trying to get away from female who didn't want him to leave. He jumped from the window because she locked the doors
3/31/18 1:55am Caller reports suspicious mini van driving up and down the
street with no headlights for the past 30 minutes. Cruiser reports out with MV and reports two females to check. They were "spying on a boyfriend who was not answering his cell phone."
4/29/18 1:46am Caller states she is receiving disturbing text messages on her phone and needs a police officer. No crime committed, Party received a photograph text message of a bird in a bird cage and felt threatened
11/22/19 5:48am Party reporting husband is in bed, is unresponsive and may have passed away. Husband had left earlier in the morning and wife thought pillows were spouse
12/26/17 6:44pm Female reports that she is fear for her life. She is an Air B&B host & recently had a guest who is an Army Civilian that has provided declassified documents to her. As a result the FBI CIA and Lithuanian government want her DNA.
7/6/18 5:45pm Party into station requesting to speak with an officer. Party was concerned about the amount of Russians he's met since the 70's. Party was spoken to and sent on his way.
8/10/16 4:23pm Multiple 911 calls about a female on the ground calling for
help at Summer and Plymouth St. Female jumped out of her own car before putting it in park to avoid a bee & was run over, injuring leg. Taken to hospital
The Bridgewater Police Department want to thank Ray Armstead & Ryan Saba for their split second decision which saved the lives of the elderly couple in yesterdays train collision. Well done gentlemen.
8/4/18 2:48pm H&W requested after neighbor observed male drinking rainwater from rain gutter. Neighbor stated the man was talking about government conspiracies. Man's mother was contacted and stated he gets like this when he works numerous double shifts and doesn't sleep.
9/27/18 8:10pm R/P reports someone rang their doorbell and when they opened the door, a male party was standing at the end of their driveway making sheep noises.
7/6/22 7:35PM Caller from Whitman Street reports an unknown male party is working on her vehicle and has taken it apart in her driveway. Officer reports the mechanic went to the wrong address and will put the car back together.
1/15/20 2:42pm Caller reports he was just scammed out of $500 after receiving a phone call by someone stating that they were the electric company. Caller was asked to come down to the station but stated he was so mad that he began drinking and could not drive.
3/30/19 1:13am Caller from Center St reports hearing noises in her basement. Officers located EKECHUKWU, CHINAKA TIMOTHY who thought he was at Barrett's. Pint ice cream located down front of pants, stolen from Cumberland Farms earlier. Arrested Trespassing & Shoplifting.
3/12/20 5:03pm Caller reports a red Toyota Camry parked in Kingswood Apartments. Caller concerned due to believes party is watching children playing. Cruiser reports party is watching children because they are his children.
6/27/18 6:50pm Elderly female from Cross St. wished to have it logged that someone put cooked rice in her mailbox. Ants subsequently ate the rice and made a mess.
Log Note:
If a large inflatable christmas decoration is reported stolen from Ron Emmas (Pleasant St) disregard. Cruiser observed this inflatable fly off into the night by a gust of wind.
1/31/18 3:47pm Mother called 911 reporting her daughter may have been
kidnapped. Daughter was found prior to police arrival. 9 year old sent a text to mother stating she had been kidnapped & when she tried to send her a 2nd message stating she was just kidding, her battery died.
11/7/17 11:35am Caller states she saw three possibly Hispanic males walking around her property, and would like the property checked. Homeowner called back and stated her landscapers are cleaning up her property, and requested we cancel our response.
10/8/21 10:45PM Caller from Meadow Lane requests officer for loud music. Officer reports apartment located, subject was watching Fast and Furious. Agreed to turn television volume down.
1/5/20 3:31am 911 caller reports she hears someone in her kitchen she is currently locked in her bedroom. Cruiser reports outside secure, robot vacuum seen in kitchen operating.
11/11/22 12:44PM 911 caller reports male party on Pleasant Street is sitting on the ground crying. Officer reports involved checks out ok, walking home from dental appointment.
6/12/21 6:35PM Caller from Superwash reports a baggie of heroin was located in front of washing machine. *If anyone is missing a bag of heroin please contact detective division. *
12/25/18 1:53am Open 911 call music playing and people talking in the background. Cruiser reports confirmed accidental, child attempting to call Santa.
6/1/2019 9:23am Male has concerns daughter's boyfriend. Concerned with 18y/o daughter who is dating a 21y/o unknown male from Illinois that she met on a dating app. BF is homeless & living out of car at Walmart in Raynham.
7/22/18 3:03pm 911 call states a female cut him off and is now driving erratically. He has been following her all over Bridgewater. Advised caller to stop following her. WBPD located & spoke with female who states she was afraid and trying to get away from the man following her.
3/22/19 4:32am Female reporting possible crimes that she believes
her boyfriend may have committed in West Bridgewater/Brockton area. Male spoken to. Claims of criminal activity untrue. Male made false claims in order to hide his true whereabouts from his girlfriend
7/26/21 11:31PM Employer requests health and welfare check on employee that did not arrive for work and it is unlike them. Party checks out ok and reports they retired from place of employment over a month ago.
11/19/17 4:21pm Caller reports her upstairs neighbor creating a disturbance by running around. Cruiser has spoke to all involved. 4 year
old birthday party will be ending
9/23/19 7:56pm Caller reports he has not been able to contact his mother all day, Cruiser made contact with that party, states she does not want to speak to her son, so she ignored him.
9/28/19 12:24am Party reports her 14 year old daughter is missing. States daughter went to a friends after school & is no longer answering her phone. Officer reports daughter was located at home in bed.
Another Massachusetts police officer lost his life today after being shot. Our thoughts are with the Weymouth Police Department and the family of Officer Michael Chesna. Once more a brother in the law falls protecting the citizens of his community. RIP, your watch is over.
9/29/18 3:32pm Caller states two young males were on opposite sides of the street pretending to pull a rope across the street. Caller concerned it would cause an accident.
4/23/18 2:41pm 911 call reports school aged female walking near her home without any shoes. Spoke with parent who reports daughter had her phone taken away from her and was moping around outside.
7/22/18 11:49am Female reports, while cutting her lawn her neighbor became threatening to her. He raised his hands, as if he was a bear as well as used a leaf blower to blow air in her face.
1/7/18 6:35pm 911 Caller states he heard a female yelling for help several
times. Cruiser reports two squirrels made there way into the apartment through the microwave vent and surprised the renters.
The Bridgewater Police Department wishes Officer Chris Shaw a happy retirement after a 24 yr career. Ofcr Shaw worked as a Patrol Officer, Detective, & Court Prosecutor. His sense of humor will be missed. Good luck Chris in the next chapter of life.
12/13/17 12:21am Party reports male approached him at The Riv & asked for a ride to Brockton. Reporter said no & went inside leaving BMW running. Came out & BMW was gone. Later recovered in Brockton
7/18/18 6:48pm clerk from Cumberland Farms reporting male in the bathroom for over 2 hours and will not respond to their calls to open the door. Cruiser reports bathroom was empty.
