Idc that he isn’t Philly’s problem anymore — he played the mental health card so no one would question him sitting for the Sixers. In a world where mens mental health is already not taken as serious as it should be, this is beyond disappointing and disgusting.
So this is either Harper’s doppelgänger, or Bryce actually used the money from his contract to build a time machine to go back in time to relive his first game as a Phillie. Hmm. 🤔
When the Phillies made their run in 2008, I was in middle school and the boys in my home room wouldn’t let me talk about the games with them.
Idk what else to say, but Twitter is fun. Thanks for letting me chat with you all every single night.
Good morning, just a reminder that Giroux, Couturier, Konecny, Voracek and Hayes combined for a whopping zero goals in the round robin and the Flyers STILL came out as the top seed.
I can finally share my exciting news!
Following graduation next month, I will be headed back to
@NBCSPhilly
as a digital content producer! I can’t express how grateful I am to remain a part of this incredible network and look forward to the next step of my career!
June 3rd, 2019: My first official day on the job at NBC Sports Philadelphia. I’m no longer an intern, and have an actual career in my job field (not to mention at the network I’ve always wanted to work for.)
Alright post college life, lets have some fun!
The longest-tenured active athlete in Philadelphia, one of the NHL’s most consistent players in the game — Claude Giroux had himself quite the decade to remember.
Lets take a look at it, shall we?
If this is the Carter Hart the Flyers are going to get for the entirety of the playoffs?
Goodness gracious, we’re about to watch some spectacular hockey.
Announcement!
I’m so grateful to be able to grow my career with NBCSP, but will now be doing so as a content creator!
Going from an intern, to PT, to full-time within a year is ... crazy. I’m so lucky to be somewhere that inspires me every day!
Here’s to the next chapter! 🖤
PSA: HOCKEY IS A TEAM SPORT!!! IT'S NOT UP TO A SINGLE PLAYER TO WIN A CUP. IF THAT WERE THE CASE, MCDAVID WOULD HAVE ONE BY NOW TOO, RIGHT?
STOP CRAPPING ON GIROUX BECAUSE 'HE HAS NOT WON THIS CITY A CUP.' JUST RESPECT THE TALENT.
I'M TWEETING IN ALL CAPS!!! BROOKE ANGRY!!!
This image is crushing. Mental health is not a joke and it's not something to be taken lightly.
I can only hope that this opens the doors to a much-needed, well overdue conversation.
Andrew Luck is an athlete, yes, but he's a human first.
To the three highly intoxicated middle-aged male Canucks fans that not only followed me to my car, but attempted to get inside: you are everything that’s wrong with this world and I hope you rot in hell.
A story in three parts:
1. Aaron Nola saw a video of the bobblehead on my desk
2. Nola said he wanted said bobblehead
3. Nola has received said bobblehead
Has Bell's palsy, has been playing on one leg and is giving absolutely everything he has because the minute he steps off the court, his team can't stay afloat. But sure, let's go with this narrative. Never accountable. Sure.
You have to be completely tone deaf to miss shoot around. What high level competitor would ever allow the team to release that report? But he knows he has people in high media places to continue to make excuses for him. Never accountable.
I’ll say this: Claude Giroux is an athlete who has been vastly underrated and under appreciated during his time in Philadelphia. He is also the player who helped mold my love of hockey/Flyers into what it is. It would pain me to see him elsewhere, but he deserves a cup.
My favorite thing that happened yesterday was after the Phillies beat the defending champs, I switched to the Braves-Cubs broadcast, where they were talking about how easy the Phillies’ schedule is.
Then I got to watch the Braves lose. Twas a good night.
You simply cannot expect Carter Hart to bail you out in every game. He can steal games, yes, but there’s nothing more he can do if those in front of him don’t get going. Be better for your goalie, Flyers — the talent is there, it’s time to execute.
I can officially announce that I have accepted the position of the NBC Sports Intern for the Philadelphia Flyers this upcoming 2018-2019 season! This is an absolute DREAM come true and I cannot wait for you guys to follow me along this exciting journey! 🧡🖤
Simmonds, in what may be his last game as a Flyer, going after Malkin for swinging at Raffl two weeks ago, in front of a national audience: an absolute need.
Flyers get shutout by one of the worst teams in the league just two days ago and are now playing quite the dominate game against one of the top teams in the NHL.
Because WHY NOT.
*other team gets penalized*
My brain:
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Don’t say it
Me: “and the Flyers are going on the PEEEECCCOOOO POWERPLAAAAAY”
Joel Farabee tied in points with Connor McDavid.
Travis Konecny and Connor McDavid are the only two players in the league with a hat trick.
Basically from what I'm gathering, the Flyers have mini McDavids.
‼️Back on Broad St‼️
I’m thrilled to be joining the wonderful crew
@PhiladelphiaSN
as a contributor covering the Flyers for the 2021-22 season!!
Excited to return to Wells Fargo Center and write about my favorite team again is an understatement — cant wait to get started!🖤
Here it is guys, my first ever Flyers article for NBCS Philly. I hope you enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.
‘Mr. Playoffs, just like Danny Briere? Carson Briere all about getting better in Flyers orange.’
