Ya'll want positivity? I wake up everyday with no use in my arms and legs and I STILL game and train like everyone else. I teach and tutor players till 5am and sleep 4 hours just to do it all over again. I should be the negative one, but I lift my head up for the love of the FGC!
In all seriousness. I've gone 0-2. Plenty of times. I had no business competing in fighting games with no hands.
But I love fighting games. I love competing. And I kept going. Pushing my limits each tournament I went. Never let a shred of doubt enter your mind. You never know.
People probably dont remember but I actually played Smash Melee. With my face. Without shielding or any wavedashing. And I got 4th in a Texas Regional. I may have talent, but goddamn I had to work my ass off. You need both to be great.
I will miss my son Mike so very much. My heart is broken. And in behalf of his Brother Jonathan and his sister Karin Begum thank you for your condolences world wide.
Here's the moment as some have asked for. He was the life of the party always, we miss him so much and he loved to sing. You will always be with us Broly, always.
To most, this image means absolutely nothing, but to me, this shows what hard work and a ''never say die'' attitude can do. I don't care if I am physically disabled. I push on through and achieve through it all. And I know everyone can too.
#GrandMasterLegs
Thank you to everyone that shared his song . Arms Wide Open by Creed. We are working on forming a Brolylegs Foundation and a huge live celebration of his life here in Austin Tx more information when the dates are set . ❤️❤️
I forgot to mention 25th is my highest placing at Evo!
I want to also thank

Random girl at the bar- "Hey I saw you on TV right?"
Me- "Yeah on ESPN"
Girl- "Yeah you were playing Fortnite right?"
Me- "No, Street Fighter"
Girl- "Same thing right?"
-.-
Ok FGC, show me your best photos of running sets in...shall we say "unusual" spots: at the airport, waiting in line, in the lobby of the Westgate (shoutouts to Evo 2016).

F**K THE EXCUSES
When I look in the mirror, I don't see the ''What I CANT do'' but the ''What I CAN do''. Its easy to give up and let myself accept my limitations. Yet I choose to live, to work, to train myself and others. If I can, you can
With all these sponsors dropping scummy people, maybe it's time they look at somebody who has a positive impact in the community, a good player that represents the disabled community, and pretty good at being marketable? Just a thought....
As much as I appreciate the pedestal people put me on for what I am able to do, I also struggle like everyone else. I am very grateful that my achievements in gaming and life help INSPIRE others, but dont twist it to PROVE your agendas that "everyone can if he can". Its hard yall
Well after 9 long months of not having the ability to leave my home without public transportation, I was finally able to drive off with a 2017 Dodge Caravan. Words cannot describe how happy I am right now. Still have 10k to go fully pay it off, so for those that helped me, ily <3
This was me in my favorite jersey. Every time I try something, despite my disability, I always attacked it. Kobe Bryant motivated me to work as hard as possible since I first watched him in 96. I will continue to dedicate myself with his work ethic, no matter what.

Today I was able to receive the best Christmas gift I could ask for: a brand new wheelchair! Was able to take it for a spin. Gonna be a new year, new me
#NewLegs
Ended the run at 25th. Lost to Louffy. I honestly had no expectations for this tournament at all. Despite all that, I think I played the best SFV I ever have. Proud of my performance and hope you enjoyed my play. Thanks for all the support.
#Evo2022
To speak on the subject of "It's not worth competing if you go 0-2" I train many students that go 0-2. I go 0-2. It happens. Failing is easy. Setting blame on anything but yourself is easy. You know what's not easy? Getting back up and trying again. But it is worth it. Every time
Just giving a PSA to TO's since SF6 is soon.
Make sure there is a way to let those with disabilities play on stream. Some of us want the spotlight. Let us shine.
You know something,
I got a shitty hand since day 1. Instead of folding, I kept on going. Sure its hard to continue. Sure it sucks. But I reflect on where I am right now and can be proud I continued. Nothing is perfect. There's definitely things I struggle with. Won't stop trying
Well tomorrow should be an exciting day. My documentary will be on
@espn
at 9am ET. I hope everyone will find a way to watch something that shows an in-depth look at my private life at home. I never liked being viewed as helpless or weak, but I know my story will bring positivity
I'm trying yall. I know I'm not at the top level. Heck, I'm mediocre at best. But damn I'm doing my best to compete with everybody. I'm not losing because I have a disadvantage. Fk that noise. I'll come back stronger. Go pass my limit.
In all seriousness this decade has truly changed me. From being a disabled individual who could hardly leave his home to a man that travels the country as Brolylegs, being on ESPN, Competing in something I love, teaching the next gen. You honestly never know what life is gonna do
Ok I'll do this the right way. No whining, or complaining,
Looking for sponsors for the Capcom Pro Tour in 2019! Im a Grandmaster Chunli player that uses my face to play because of my disability. Dont let that fool you as I have put in major work to be the best! RTs appreciated!
Not here to say I'm better than anyone but
#MyDisabledLifeIsWorthy
for the goals I set out, the obstacles I have to overcome and the boundaries I break and will continue to break. Whether thru gaming, streaming or writing my own book, never lsay I took the easy way.
Thankful for everyone I got to play, chat, take pictures and everyone who helped me get here. I couldn't do it without the community. I can only hope I can give as much as y'all have given me. Thank you all.
Day 2 of
#E32019
is a wrap! Got to play pretty well in the SFL exhibition and in the Beat a Pro challenge. I also got to take a picture with 2 amazing people
@XavierWoodsPhD
and
@WWEAsuka
!
Let me give yall some perspective:
Any game you want to compete in takes work, but it is doable. I have physical disability that give me little use of my hands and I learned Street Fighter 4 and got good. When SFV came, I learned it and got good. Same thing will happen in SF6.
