daily I see videos of kids "training" and working on stuff that will help them win a game of 1 on 1 but they cant shoot 20% from three in a game. 8 dribble moves won't help if D sags 4 feet off the non shooter. Parents need to invest $ in a shooting..make it make sense

If all your workouts are focused on scoring in a 1 on 1 situation then you may struggle to play the game 5 on 5...those other 8 players aren't going to be standing still, some may actually play help D in a game. What looks good on twitter doesn't always translate to the game

8th pick in WNBA draft played 15 min (out of 40) a game and averaged 7.1 points per game.....read that again. And yet we have parents of middle school and HS kids who think their kid needs to score the ball and play a bunch of minutes to get a scholarship. #TheMoreYouKnow

Absolutely unbelievable what @Scottejohnson12 has built over the last decade. Others tell stories and have nice slogans but photos don’t lie. What other program (besides @FBCMotton ) can put 30 different girls on 17u teams and provide them with this type of exposure? No one.

Self posting stats is great if you WIN the game! The #1 goal is to WIN the game! Seems like sometimes we lose focus of that! If you did that good in a LOSS then someone will see your stats! Just don't brag about how you did and lost the game! #wvgirlsbb #seemsselfish

Great example of why kids should post offers: Player posts 2 offers from conference X, a few days later 2 more teams from conference X call with "I love Sally Smiths game tell me about her" Loves her game but has never called about her until she posts 2 offers in same league 🤷‍♂️

At live evaluation period you see losing college program's coaches exhibit many similar behaviors: - more time talking than watching - book closed no notes - 👀 on phone screen more than game - roll in 30 min late for 1st games or not at all - gone before last games tip off

PSA for coaches and parents: if you're going to tweet your "big win", also tweet when you get served a 30 piece. If you're in the 4th tier division of your grade level it's OK but say so and tell us who you beat, not "some good team from Florida" or "Team (insert any state)"
