Big news at Attentive. Congrats to Amit, very excited to see him take Attentive to the next chapter! He has been an incredible partner for the last several years.
My new book, Problem Hunting, comes out Oct 3rd. It’s a tech startup playbook for finding a product idea, hiring a team, and scaling your business.

I just realized that remote work and zoom is really good professionally for short people like me. It does seem like the 6ft+ crowd is pushing for more in office
@tgeisenheimer
looking at you.
We’re so excited to announce our latest product, Attentive Concierge.
If SMS marketing was the answer to impersonal, one-to-many communication, Concierge is the evolution to simple two-way conversations.
It's very exciting to see

A great Head of Recruiting is an absolute must in your first 10 hires and is one of your most important hires. Hiring an expert and allowing them to do what they do best, allows founders time to do what they do best.

‘s idea of a relentless focus on a top 3 has had a huge impact on my output. Pick your top 3 priorities and block of vast amounts of time to just do them until done. It’s amazing how much you can get done.
Calling companies is a terrible customer experience. Long hold times, and you’re tied to your phone until you get an answer.
If only there were a better way to have a conversation with a brand…🤔
when brands don't act on the opportunity to have a conversation with customers, they can miss out on significant revenue.
that's why we're excited to introduce Attentive Concierge 💬

Hi - I'm Brian; I co-founded a communication company (

IMO being in the trenches heavily outweighs just being book-smart.
Keep in mind the difference between a mentor and a coach. A mentor can guide you; a coach will help you set and achieve goals.
@mattmochary
is the best; I'm sure he'd be happy to help or make a connection
If you want to know a company’s true competitors - just see the competitive keywords they are bidding on. Funny to compare these to who the ceo “claims” are competitors.

And regarding it being across two different numbers.... this happens if a brand was previously on a shared code but recently moved to a dedicated code. We need to keep the opt outs up to date on both codes, so you would get a confirm from the new code. Compliance is fun. =)

@attentivemobile
Hey - I'm the CEO of Attentive. I'll ping you directly Val. The overlap for a shared code tends to be pretty small (<1%), but Bryant is right - dedicated codes are the way to go. If you are a small brand, then toll-free could also be a good option.
@SeanEcom
People forget in 2016 that it was all about Facebook messenger. We tried it and built for it. Performance was much worse than sms. Apple business chat is just customer service.
