When I was a teenager, I was homeless for a time. I was dropped off at a YMCA with just a sleeping bag and I cried and cried and cried, for the journalism career that I felt slipping away from me and into the Never. Writing is all I ever wanted. Thank you for reading my stuff ❤️

Found my first piece of silver with my metal detector today! This S Morden & Co piece of (what I believe is a) mechanical pencil. Sampson Morden invented them back in 1822! The family continued until 1941 when their factory was destroyed in the Blitz. Some find for a writer! 😍
