The best part of my role as AIT Chair is visiting Taiwan! This week, I’m looking forward to exploring more of the island, trying more delicious food, and, of course, engaging in important conversations on the growing U.S.-Taiwan partnership.
After the delegation departed, I stayed in Taipei to meet with a range of senior Taiwan leaders, including Premier Cho Jung-tai and new cabinet officials, to reaffirm U.S. support for our continued collaboration across a range of initiatives. 5/8
