Supporting Gillingham the last few years has been pretty joyless but it’s nights like this that make it worthwhile.2,000 travelling Gills fans out sang Brentford and the boys in blue ran themselves in to the ground and played for the shirt. So proud of this team and my club. 💙

One of the big positives this season has been the supporters.Was worried with yesterday’s game being effectively a dead rubber crowd would be very low. Only 100 off from Barrow so 5,600 odd Gills is a good effort. Home support has been good this year and away support phenomenal.

Reality check for Gills fans unhappy about yesterday’s result and blaming Harris. 7 of the starting 11 were regulars in the team before Christmas that were rock bottom by a distance. Yes we have strengthened but we are still some way short of the top teams. Patience required.

Fair play to the English teams. Unbelievably selfless act to collectively agree to get knocked out the European quarterfinals, thereby ensuring all English players get a couple of weeks break ahead of the Euro’s, now making an England win almost inevitable 😉.

@TheGillsFC Boys are trying to play a different way and I know we want results and flowing football instantly but these things take time. Fans need to stick with the the boys and get behind what they are trying to do. Any anxiety and abuse doesn’t help the players. Keep it positive 💙

Reflecting upon last night’s events at Priestfield. The game had a bit of everything for us Gills fans,good, bad & ugly but at the end no one could say they weren’t entertained in the second half. Still plenty of work to be done by Clem & the boys but I see progress.
