Am I the only one that thinks
@ScottMorrisonMP
is doing a great job?
I have respect for anyone that does a job that I wouldn’t want to do and his job would be at the bottom of the list at the moment.

Thank you to
@hkdarren
for letting everyone know that
@RachelK11
was on her feet during the call. It may seem minor but that anxious wait to find out makes your heart stop.
Kasey and I would like to introduce our son.

Our pride and joy was obviously just as excited to meet us as we were of him as we were not expecting him for another 6 weeks but both mum and Bub are doing extremely well.
The achievement of the day has to be that master horseman Greg Bennett completed the treble where he broke in the 2yo Magic Millions winner, Blue Diamond winner & Golden Slipper winner in 2021
An achievement that can’t go unnoticed.
I feel very lucky to be able to say that that
@RachelK11
and I will be getting married. Special thanks to
@nhjewels
and jamalalodge for all of the help. @ Jamala Wildlife Lodge
I just spoke with
@RachelK11
‘s surgeon and he is very happy with how the operation went. Rachel is now in recovery and I expect to speak with her soon. I want to thank everyone for their messages of support.
If these climate activists really want to help the environment they should start by becoming volunteer firefighters to help stop the bush fires that are destroying so many homes and lives
Due to the new rules that restrict jockeys to certain areas I made the decision to ride in the metro area so I could continue to live with
@RachelK11
.
This means I’ll be available for rides at all city meetings at 50kg+.
Something that may have gone unnoticed yesterday was Greg Bennett broke in 1st & 2nd in the 2yo MM, Shaquero & Alpine Edge. He also worked as a breaker / pre trainer with Eleven Eleven. Just proves what a great horseman he is and how crucial a good education can be.
I’m incredibly proud of what
@RachelK11
has achieved. There is no comparison to a Melbourne Cup and knowing your partner is about to experience some of the highest emotions that you can have in the saddle is pretty special.
From the Cups King Bart, another King, jockey Rachel, hoping to win Melbourne Cup with her first ride in the great race. First job in Oz was working for Bart. In 2016, she was in Flemington grandstands to watch her partner Blake Spriggs ride in Cup
Story -
After 2 years of pain & 5 injections I met with my surgeon (
@dr_tim_musgrove
) on Tuesday & we decided it was time to have surgery to repair a tear in my knee. I’ll be out of the saddle for a minimum of 6 weeks but I’m looking forward to returning pain free.
@AndrewBensley
@Racing
This is Sir John Hawkwood. Hasn’t raced since the 2016 Melbourne cup and his happily retired. He still looks $1m and this is what happened when I tried to walk away from him after a weekly visit.
To those refusing to download the COVIDSafe app..
Do you not realise that when Facebook shows you ads from products you’ve previously viewed online or when google gives you an approx time to drive somewhere you’ve been before it’s because the apps track your behaviour?

Thank you to everyone who sent messages regarding

She has 3 fractures in her collarbone but other than that she is okay. Thoughts are with the other jockeys involved
A man who rushed back from overseas to see his mum before she passed away was told there will be no exemption by the QLD government..
The mother passed away last night after being denied her last wish of seeing her son.
Absolutely heartless and unbelievable!
After 14 weeks on the sidelines due to knee surgery I will be back in the saddle today at Hawkesbury where I have 2 rides.
I’ve put in countless hours of training in the gym, riding the bike and swimming over the…
Melbourne Cup day is always a special day to me as it brings back great memories of 2016. There is nothing like the buzz you get when stepping onto the track. I’m hoping I’ll get another chance one day but today I’ll be at R’wick where I have 4 rides. Navy Cross looks the pick.
Jockeys Tommy Berry (🎅), Rachel King and Blake Spriggs spread some Christmas cheer at the Sydney Children's Hospital on Sunday. 🎄

I’ve known Jarrod since we were kids and I’m proud to call him a friend. He’s had his low moments but he has turned it all around & deserves a 2nd chance. I can honestly say he is one of the best blokes I know & I hope a team picks him up as he has an extremely high NRL IQ
Very pleased to pick up Sensationalisation in the

Feeling for

as I know what it’s like to lose rides to injury. For that reason I’ll donate my fee ($250) + $2,500 (if I win) to a charity of his choice.
Pleased to say that my surgeon
@dr_tim_musgrove
has given me the all clear to return to track work tomorrow morning with the intention to return to race riding in March. It’s been a long 12 weeks of recovery but I’m looking forward to getting back pain free.
An absolute thrill to win on Prince Of Arragon for
@JTRacingRwik
and Waratah. It’s been a frustrating 2 years full of injuries and disruptions but it was nice to show what I can do on a nice horse.
I’m back at home and recovering well from surgery. Straight to physiotherapy this afternoon and then a couple of days rest before training in the gym and swimming starts next week.
Thanks to everyone for their messages and I’d also like to thank
@dr_tim_musgrove
for the op.
For trainers still looking for a jockey at 50kg in the Epsom & Metrop, I’m happy to ride at the weight & did it comfortably when riding Hightail for the Snowden team in the Stradbroke.
Please contact my manager

for bookings.

Had a first in my career today where I wasn’t able to get a run on the outside fence.
Seems like most tracks are tired at the moment which forces us to the outside which makes it frustrating.
Looking forward to getting to Newcastle tomorrow as it’s one of the best tracks in Oz
Such an iconic photo!
Not just because Lebron breaking the record but every single fan in the crowd except the old gentleman in the front row is taking a photo while he lives in the moment
Can’t help but laugh at the media saying how terrible the pay gap is between the Socceroos & the Matilda’s
Men’s WC generates about $6bn for fifa which sees the men receive about 7%
Women’s generate about $150m & they receive about 20%
The only gap is men getting less %
It wasn’t our day but I thought Hightail ran a great race and had me a little excited at the top of the straight.
I’m now looking forward to a decent meal and then I’ll be ready for next week where I have a couple of rides for the Gollan team.
Contrary to what
@dailytelegraph
published this morning, I am not battling concussion & the ‘doc saved my life’ is not true.
This is an error that will be fixed.
It was a busy couple of days with Murwillumbah Friday, Newcastle Saturday & Nowra today.
It paid off with 3 winners and 5 placing from 13 rides. Way to the stars was the highlight.
Thanks to all trainers including
@mcsmithracing
for the support.
@sflaherty87
It’s always great to ride a winner in the Waratah colours but it was a little more special today as it was my first winner for new head trainer, Steve O’Halloran who is doing a great job.
That’s 2 winners in 3 days & I’m starting to get things rolling again!
I had an interesting talk with a QLD police officer who was investigating a recent break in (not our house) & I asked him what he thought the biggest issue was.
His response was that it was simple, we’re putting these kids in front of a judge & they’re released immediately…
I just heard that the two volunteer firefighters were young fathers. They died doing a selfless and heroic job. Does anyone know how we can donate to the families?

I couldn’t be prouder of what you’ve achieved. To finish 3rd in arguably one of if not the toughest premiership in the world is a huge achievement. Now we can look to improve on that this season.

😉😘
What a result for
@RachelK11
, winning her first G1! I think we’ll be celebrating for a week. Makes all of the long trips to country meetings, watching replays and hard work worth it. She deserves every bit of success and I couldn’t be prouder!
My knee has been 100% since returning to track work last week so I’ve told my manager that I will be available for rides again on Saturday the 7th of March.
Please contact Josh Barrett for more.
Dear
@rogerfederer
I would appreciate it if you could win in straight sets tonight as I will struggle to stay up past midnight for 3 consecutive nights watching yourself and
@NickKyrgios
.
Thanks 😉
After consultation with the shoulder specialist this morning he confirmed that I had a partial posterior dislocation which means I will be out of the saddle until next week. I will start track work early next week & look to return to race riding later in the week.
