It was so obvious what the PM was doing, yet they all fell for it - without hesitation.
Funny old times. You think you’re up against it, but you’re not.
Cheers Keith!

The sort of training mission where they drive past the WELCOME TO UKRAINE sign? Yeh. Don’t think they think they’re on a training mission…

Yes. Fantastical. Because if it’s seven minutes, you know it will arrive bursting at the seams.
It’s London. Not some village backwater.

Their lack of judgement and complete absence of any situational awareness on this day makes them wholly unsuited to the rational decision making constantly required of a pilot in command.
Thank you.

Nope.
Jesus Christ. And you’re at The Spectator!
There is no obligation except to the court.
There is no obligation for a barrister to speak a member of the press or anybody else outside open court.
Seriously, read before commenting.....

Lol. I remember a time when journalists went out and reported the news themselves, rather than scrolling through Twitter 😂

But also, this isn’t war is it. It’s a “defensive military action” by Russia.
The Russians can’t have it both ways, either it is a war or it isn’t.

Open your eyes to the world. Shortages and compression on the supply chain is *far* from a U.K./Brexit problem.
Wouldn’t count on many people taking up the proposal (or “u turn”)

Don’t worry, I think Pete is about to have a fight with himself.
For everyone else it was obvious that anybody who can afford (not only money, but also time) to go from Stevenage to Ballymena to go karting ain’t on the poverty line.

In the case of the Empire State Building, it works the other way. A true comparison would result in a building built under a legacy building code, and not in todays standards.
Like for like comparisons in construction are hard.

Don’t get me started on the global supply crunch 😂
Much easier for people to just say BREXIT and blame that. Those are the same people filling Jerry cans at fuel stations everywhere probably!

It’s not just the driver though.
It’s station staff; engineers; signallers; HR; Finance.. it’s the combined work effort of all staff for all modes. It’s the total cost of all the humans needed to keep the show on the road (or rails) that actually matters.

Doubt it. He’s a Member of the set at that Chambers. It would normally require a resolution of all Members (or a defined number) to oust him.
I suspect he’s done it to limit amount of heat the Chambers is receiving on social. That’s all.

Pubs still closed in most of Germany... don’t know about other countries.
Sadly, I don’t think we’re too different.
Too much fearmongering everywhere.

@OneLandlord
Another great day to be a landlord with more competition dropping out of the market.
Another poor day to be a tenant with more good and decent landlords pulling rental properties from the market.
@thomasforth
The key fibre routes are in the south, with the best in and out of west London and Docklands.
That’s where the “money” data centres want to be.
That’s where the premium is.
Non latency sensitive stuff can be elsewhere - which is pretty much what happens.
@dubslife1
0:37 fucking hell… and not one man jumping down to at least be next to the guy before his back can be stabilised. The hell is wrong with people….

Oh, believe me. I’m very well informed.
You carry on banging that drum and ignoring the underlyings.
You note import and export costs. Of course they’ve altered in many instances - those businesses that adapt thrive. You can’t leave the single market without change.

You mean she had panicked investors pulling money out of the fund, which creates forced selling by virtue of the quantum of redemptions.
Notwithstanding that, she chose what to offload!
