I visited Terakhongsangbi Relief Camp, Bishenpur, on the 30th of August. I chose this particular camp as it is one of the sensitive areas, one of the villages neighbouring Churchanpur. The camp also houses people whose houses were burnt on the 3rd of May in Churchandpur.

I am in touch with people in Churchandpur, father of an orphanage home shared with me how some of them (Kukis) formed a human chain to protect Meiteis. Similarly, my kuki friends in Checkon shared how some Meiteis have rescued their children and relatives!
