Baseball is deliciously cruel. The Dodgers/Cubs game ended when Jason Heyward smashed a line drive that Nico Hoerner dove for and caught. It had an exit velocity of 99.6 mph and went 180 feet. David Peralta’s perfect game-breaking hit had an exit velo of 32.9 mph and went 3 feet.
