@Douglas4Moray No Scotland raises taxes for those in higher earnings (that includes me) to help those less well off. I'm fine with that choice. The UK is in decline Shortfall for UK in 2023-24 now almost 4 times per head than as in Scotland.

For 40 years North Seaoil rigs have spewed noxious fumes into the atmosphere. In 1981 Thatcher could have sent most this requirement to St Fergus & create 15000 jobs but she didn't cuz it would make Scotland "too powerful".
