The Ajuran Empire is a mythical empire the illiterate nomadic Somalis love to cling on for some form of glorification and noble prestige amongst their respective Somali peers in the north, who had actual sultanates/empires (I.e Adal Sultanate, Majerteen, Hobyo, etc)

I will stress this again, the Banadir coast (Mogadishu, Barawa, Marka, Kismayu, Ras Kamboni) was built, found, civilised, established, first settled and cultivated by the Arabs, the Banadir people today who are of Arab origins, are indigenous to these cities.

The more you learn "Somali history" The more you find out the Somalis build nothing! A good example is Mogadishu, the ancient city they love to claim which was founded, ruled, and operated by its Arab founders. These Arabs didn't allow Somalis in the city after nightfall.

Somalis caught twisting history. "huwa fi'l-asl min al-Barbara" - historically this is refering to the ancient port city of barbara. Barbara, an ancient port city, was once known as Bahr al Barabar and is now called the Gulf of Aden. The British changed its name to Gulf of Aden.

Ajuran is merely a clan and there is no academic, archeological, eye witness accounts or any sort of historical document to proof the existence of this so called Empire. In the realm of Academia and discussing African History, the idea of this empire will hold no weight.

Somalis when pressed about their "history" will resort to name calling and ad-hominems like the zionists. Their manupilative tactic to decieve is easily recognisable. They all posses a similar trait of lying and falsifying history by claiming another civilisations glory.

I’m not saying all Somalis are the same but they all possess the same trait. They defend, lie and justify the crimes and corruption of their political leaders who belong to the same clan as them. They are as guilty as the warlords and criminals governing the nation.

A question for the "expert of this subject", if the banadir towns are part of Somali history, please point out their ancient monuments, mosques and graves that to were built by the Somalis, on all the inscriptions why do they have names belonging to Banadiris?

@Independentmi20 @Benadiri I am referring to Madam @dervishconan who is an expert in this subject. Madam Ebla, Kindly tell us who were the Berbers in Mogadishu and Berbera and who were they Musafar in Mogadishu? Who were the inhabitants of Mogadishu during Ibnu Batuta. Thanks.

The last ten days of Ramadan, I will be taking a break. On these blessed nights, I will be asking Allah to destruct and inflict harm over the oppressors, and hold them to account, and those who directly and indirectly support oppression through silence or their meagre deciet.

Eating fish or rice was never a Somali thing, otkac is a lander dish, mahambri and Sambusa was introduced by Banadiris. Nomadic Somalis would consume blood, meat and camel milk before being introduced to rice, flour, beans, millet, sogum, chapati, halwa etc. Stop stealing.

As the nomad takes in the view, it is clear that the contrast between the simple life of the nomad and the bustling city is vast and striking. Yet, somewhere deep inside, they held on to a glimmer of hope that one day they too will be able to revel in this sense of belonging.

Wazirs are not from the Somali nomadic culture. It is possible that the landers share some aspects of their culture, but for the very least they do not make false claims they ruled Mogadishu.

Please refrain from twisting up history. Barbar refers to a whole region. Abu Bakr ibn Shaykh Umar was from the Fakrudin Dynasty (ruling elite of Mogadishu at that time), they were not somali. The language of Mogadishu was not somali, otherwise he would have mentioned this.

@Benadiri According to ibu Battuta "The sultan of Mogadishu was Abu Bakr ibn Shaikh Umar. He was Barbara(term for the somali people by arabs) and spoke the local language of Mogadishu"... Battuta described the food in detail as rice topped with butter (“ghee”).. rice and ghee being somali-

.. hoteps and delusional fanatic, so they resorted to claiming not black or Arab but “SAMAALE”, a mythical man, they said they’re all one tribe, later on when their IQ increases they will cling on to a new identity. Remember, these are the same people who questions MY IDENTITY.

The Nomadic Somalis have been politicising death and affiliating it with tribalism since the beginning of time. They now want to take the moral high ground when a Banadiri questions or exposes their fallacy, and tell us to be the one that speak out against all injustices lol!

Illahi ha unaxaristo but don't make this a tribal issue, corrupt police officers killed an ethnic Somali truck driver couple of months ago for 2 dollars and you didn't say a word. People die from police shooting in the air at traffic stops too. Dont politicise death.

I recall years ago when I bought these issues to light, such as the rampant unreported mistreatment of women in somalia, I was called a simp, feminist sympathizer and an anti-somali. This was a deflection tactic to further sway away from reality and brush it under the rug

What comes to mind when you think of #Puntland , Somalia? #Piracy , #terrorism , #smuggling , #counterfeit goods? If you said all that, you’d be right; but it’s also known for #rapes , sexual #exploitation , child #prostitution , child #soldiers , #slavery , human #trafficking also!

@MuseGalaal_ @TheLastHarari @SarahBanny1 @meeela_24 The bulk of somali civilisation were nomadic camel herders, it’s unfound for a nomad to settle on a rocky spit of land in the coast. Meanwhile Semitic people were known to travel to East Africa since the beginning. The Sabaic inscriptions in modern puntland is one source.

@thebhlub @ManlikeAK47 The Dervishes were the AS terrorists of that time, they pillaged villages, raided homes, killed and raped, all in the name of religion. Notice the somali nationalists who glorify the mad mullah are inherently complicit to such crimes, genocide and invading is sports to them.

This is the national Somali dish, a reflection of their tough living condition in the scorching desert, this food can last for weeks. Sadly, their self hatred doesn’t enable them to claim it, so they claimed Banadiri dishes. Thieves in history, culture, clothing and even food.
