After many weeks of work and learning, mm_toolbox v0.1 is finally done! It contains MA models, various candlestick generators, ISO8601 timestamp to-and-fro and many more, all as fast as possible with optimisation. Install it by simply doing "pip install mm_toolbox" ⤵️⤵️⤵️

closing out May on a high, feels pretty good. improvements are clear, PnL is significantly smoother and doing ~2.5x more ADV than before! those steep drawdowns will fade away with more assets, i analysed them and not much i could've done to avoid it. strength in numbers i guess

and we're live! orders are going through, initial tests seem positive, still ironing out bugs here and there as they pop up keep in mind, this is just bybit for now. once this is rock solid, will be testing out @HyperliquidX then @binance in that order

really disliking my design choice of the sharedstate leaves me clueless to how many updates are being pushed to my data cache and i have to maintain two copies of the cache to figure out what even changed, incredibly inefficient for event based execution

the step up in complexity for an MM system going from single -> multi symbol is quite difficult so i made the very smart choice to go from single symbol -> multi symbol multi exchange because why not (im suffering but too deep to turn back now)

i feel theres two games you can participate in regarding algorithmic trading in general (not just HFT) be smarter than the rest, or be faster than the rest. extremely unlikely you can do both effectively, so pick your poison and but make damn sure you're good at it

have been working on my orderbook model again, trying a fully vectorized version now link: (ps, im not sure how to verify its correct so have a look and critic it!) ~5.8us for updating a 25 level book, which i feel is absurdly fast for a non-dict impl

does anyone else have slower times when adding array types to numba's njit flag? little to no speedup when using it with int64/float64, but significant difference when trying float64[:]/int64[:]/bool_[:]... no using any other flags (like nogil=True), should i?

as high risk as the stink biddor may be, if you want to churn volume to get higher VIP tiers, its a killer my avg acct balance over the past 30D is ~1.9K, meaning its turned over ~105x everyday!

surprised im +5.2% this month, but its positive so...could be worse 🤷‍♂️ ran at half size from 11th <-> 20th, otherwise just been a quiet month for vol. ate a huge loss on the 3rd, but no fault of my own and just got caught in a -20%, as this strategy will every once in a while!

Whatever you do, don’t look at BitMEX’s XBTUSDT product. A seller has slipped and eviscerated product down to $10,000 BTC. Looks like well over $10m in total losses at this point on what definitely seems like an algo going haywire.

something ive learnt whilst doing my maths computing project is how many ways there are to optimize the same thing. code optimizations made us 20-30x faster, but figuring out a more efficient mathematical solution was 175x boost even with unoptimized code!

ive added the other features i mentioned here, kept it simple but still representative of how a "proper" feature may look like. before you ask, no this has barely any alpha in my 3 months of experience running these in prod, but certainly helps diversify the feature pool which

feature wise, i've simplified it down to a bunch of mids checking each other and generating a skew. i know i know, its ultra basic but im happy to keep it that way for this repository. in my little testing, it doesnt have much alpha and is very very unlikely to ever have any

is there a way to automatically feed documentation to ChatGPT? integrating @okx atm, and just giving it my Binance integration + the relevant OKX docs is doing 90% of the job for me. most of it seems correct too! if automated, one could easily crank out 3 exchanges a day...

not too shabby for a month where i was afk 50% of the time! incredible market for the first half, i was super busy with IRL stuff and it somehow ignored that fact ...but not for the 2nd half, barely managed symbols and it shows in perf. but still, cant complain 🤷‍♂️

closing out May on a high, feels pretty good. improvements are clear, PnL is significantly smoother and doing ~2.5x more ADV than before! those steep drawdowns will fade away with more assets, i analysed them and not much i could've done to avoid it. strength in numbers i guess

this is surprisingly profitable on these trending shitcoins btw quote 50 <-> 200BPS wide, tp orders in a way that you make a few BPS inbetween with size increasing as you go further out books are thin, take advantage of the opportunity

tested out how fast it might be to integrate binance. turns out, a chimp with a ChatGPT4o sub could do this in an hour 😆 just giving it the bybit integration + binance payloads/endpoints and it'll do ~90% of the work in 15 mins. then just cleaning up its small errors and done!
