I understand “morality” the way I understand, say, “chess.” “Does chess exist?” is a boring question. The answer simply follows from our chosen criteria. Once we say it exists, we are entitled to say “One should not move their pawn backwards.” No fancy Metaethics needed.

I had a great day today. This morning I got political asylum for a Christian family who has been here for 10 years facing deportation. Stressful! I rarely fight back tears in court, but when the judge granted it, I was a little embarrassed at my show of emotion. Wheeeeee!!! 😘🪕
