Yesterday 1 of our most eagle-eyed female undercover officers saw a suspicious man on the central line moving around the busy passageways- keeping a close eye on him- she managed to get onto the same train & witness him start to masturbate against a woman. Immediately arrested 👍

Successful rapid entry @BTPOSU - man wanted for sexual assault on 13yr old girl - turned out also wanted by MPS for a knife point rape of a 12yr old girl. Rapid authorised overnight, entry at 0650. Ammunition, Hard Drives& Cannabis plants also seized. Subject charged & remanded👍

In West London, a man followed a Yr 9 schoolgirl and kept trying to engage her in sexual conversation. The next day he was sat on the platform bench when she arrived from school which frightened her & she reported it to @BTP . We arrested him 2 days later. #nottolerated #VAWG

Responding to a violence incident at KingsX, plain clothes @BTPOSU saw 2 males react strangely to seeing @BTP 👮and engaged them - identifying one male as being wanted for rape, and the other as being a modern day slavery victim. The level of awareness amazes me - Great job 👏

Following the robbery of vulnerable boy, CID identified 5 suspects and worked up arrest packages overnight. At 0500 @BTPOSU came in early to hit the locations & secure 3 of the 5 with the other 2 picked up by CID & @BTPKent officers. Excellent teamwork, all suspects in custody 💪

Following a long history of domestic violence, coercive behaviour and a strangling the night before at a hotel, the victim broke down & reported this to @BTP VCTF on patrol. Rather than pass to the local police, they immediately went searching for the male, found & arrested him.

Patrolling in Clapham with uniformed and plain clothes officers, 3 men darted away when seeing Police and were stopped & searched. 1 male had cannabis and another had a 9 inch knife. This still only counts as a 66% find rate for the stop search data, which is worth remembering...

Oh no... that chap that stepped off the train at its #Norwich terminus - saw @BTP and then quickly stepped back on - was spotted 😕 £1200 in cash, two burner phones, and a case with high powered lamps, fertilizer and snap bags in it. I think we know what's going on here 👍

Tempers flared on and off the pitch at yesterday's #chelseatottenham match which unfortunately carried on into the transport network. Officers intervened and made two arrests, for ABH and GBH. We won't tolerate football violence in any form, be it physical or verbal.

Rapid entry yesterday for a GBH warrant resulted in 1 officer injured as he apprehended the suspect. Brave work & after a brief spell in hospital he's all good 👍 To top it all @BTPOSU seized tens of thousands in drugs, knives and firearms. I could be happier, but not easily 😌

Two simultaneous operations today by @BTPOSU @BTPLondon @metpoliceuk with some great arrests: the pick being at #Finsbury within 5 mins of arriving, chasing down & apprehending a shoplifter that had an adapted weapon - a sharpened spike - he'd threatened shop staff with 💪👏

Great to wake up to the news of another arrest by @BTP Priority Crime Taskforce in East London - following a suspicious male and arresting him as he started to commit a sexual assault. Initially denied it, but caved to the barrage of evidence fired at him. No mercy, no let up.

Last night @BTPOSU stopped two males jumping the ticket barrier. One male made off and was chased down and detained. Nothing found, but a check of the route he ran found a discarded knife. His mate had burner phones and weighing scales on him. Currently in custody 👍

Plain clothes @BTPOSU VCTF followed a suspicious male and stopped him for a search outside #Claphamjunction - when they spotted a young man do a double take and then go to make off - chased down and large knife recovered. Exceptionally brave work as always 👏

Swift work from @BTP VCTF today, hearing a radio call of a male masturbating on board a train about to depart... They sprinted to the platform & arrived just as the doors were closing, arresting him as he continued to do so in front of another passenger. #gymsessioncomplete 👍

On patrol in South London @BTPSpecials responded to reports of a man rubbing himself on a woman on a train. She had alighted and they quickly worked to intercept the train, identifying & arresting him. CCTV is being seized & we will seek to charge for this hideous behaviour.

Reading this heartbreaking story, I thought too of the officers that had to watch the torture to build the case. Spare a thought for those dealing with these harrowing incidents that then have to go home and try to be normal for their own families. I'm sorry Seb. Rest in Peace🙏

In May, PCTF officers observed a man acting oddly & followed him til he entered a college & disappeared. Yesterday an image of a man wanted for two sexual offences was circulated and they recognised it as him - attended the college where he was identified in class & arrested 👏

Great spot by @BTP VCTF: walking back from getting a well earned coffee, they spotted a violent offender walking down the street. They'd seen him in a briefing slide sent by @kent_police a few days earlier for an Arson and arrested him. We need to get them on a gameshow 🤔

2 months ago a person reported a sexual offence on the tube. Yesterday a @BTPLondon officer identified him from the CCTV images @BTPOSU conducted an early morning entry & arrested him, also finding a false panel in his car for transporting drugs It's great to be back at work 🙂
