“Why are you so optimistic about the #Hudaydah ceasefire?” **eyes rolling**... I have been asked this too many times today! My answer: because the thought of it falling apart, fighting resuming and aid/ food supplies not getting in to #Yemen is too horrifying to entertain!

One thing that stood out to me on this trip is the widespread fear in #Houthi held areas... no1 willing to talk, even when I promised not 2 ask about politics “we don’t want to get in trouble” they would say. Many homes broken into by the Houthis, many people captured. #Yemen
