No video, highlights, or fanfare for the goodbye of the best NA dota team with 10 years of history. Sad :(. I guess expected after the sc2 and fgc players.
Damn
@TNCPredator
playing game 8 to go to TI. Honestly I love the new DPC format, but I wish TI invites were weighted a bit more heavily to LAN results over regional league results. SEA got robbed of slots compared to skill level because every SEA team is competitive.
The community negativity this TI is insane. I'm not saying there aren't legitimate gripes and improvements to be made, but I tweet that we didn't hear the caster audio aka it's fixed for day 2 and people on twitter and reddit call me a liar?? For what??
offlaner playing mid with 200 ping. Carry playing with 120 ping. Coach standing in for offlane. Missing who i'd say is the best player in the world mid. Can't wait to watch this full
@OGesports
team play on lan.
Congrats to
@OGesports
, TI wouldn't be the same without the defending back to back champs. Respect to the
@TundraEsports_
boys as they put up a hell of a fight. Dota is such a good game.
I think people underestimate how many dota ideas stem from envy's innovations. Easily the person who taught me the most throughout my time in dota. I'm so thankful for the memories and impact you've had on my life. Gl in the future! Mlg Columbus will always be my fav tourney.
Retiring from everything DotA related. Here is my personally designed mousepad with a bunch of memes. Drop your stick, etc. Thank you DotA and peace out. Next stream will be my last.
Btw people have asked me a lot who I think the best player in the world is. From DAC 2015 onwards every time I'd answer sumail. Then after watching a lot of secret 2019 dpc season it changed to midone. Then at TI9 it became topson. Now they're all on the same team wtfff
Tiebreakers cancelled now lol. The problem isn't having to play tiebreakers, but the fact that it's being communicated last minute. We had to cancel flights and delay media days and for what? Teams get told new rules after 1.5 months of playing a league and now its changed again.
Super excited to work with
@TundraEsports_
& support the team on their road to The International!
Our first challenge begins tomorrow with the return of the
#DPC
. We can’t wait to develop & bring new ideas to dota as the season progresses.
None of the tundra players I asked could hear casters during our match yesterday. Could hear crowd hype and vibrations but not make out what the casters were saying
No video, highlights, or fanfare for the goodbye of the best demon cosplay based NA dota team with at least 10 games of history. Sad :(. I guess expected after violently kicking me.
It’s never easy to say goodbye, especially with a history as long as ours. Thank you Pale Horse, RUDY THE GHOST, Gremlo, Crow, Monkey, and the endless horde of stand-ins.
Why the hell do people keep asking me about crypto in my AMA? Why would you want any sort of advice about that from me? I've basically only played video games for the past 10 years of my life. Is this some weird cult thing?
If League players don't want kernel level access anti cheat that can brick their computers, but will miss assaulting their own mental too much, then just come play Dota?
Real talk: SEA pubs are the most enjoyable/best because everyone wants to be in the game and plays their hearts out every game. I can't remember a single game intentional ruined in all my SEA pubs
Ty for your support in this very difficult time in my life. I could barely have a perfect night of sleep after being violently kicked from
@ArkoshGaming
Thank you to all parties who reached out. Especially heartwarming to me were the individuals that reached out trying help however they could. Tbh I’ve felt pretty disillusioned with social media, but that was really wholesome and nice. Excited to represent
@newbeecn
at TI9.
Alliance following the rules and using coaches in game shouldn't cause them to take any flak, but said rule seems pretty terrible both in concept and execution. First of all, coaches being allowed in the game is a huge change that should be more than just a line on an email to
Lgd were clearly the best team at the major. Just incredible to watch them play dota. Thanks to
@WePlay_Esports
for the fantastic event. I hope everyone enjoyed their hard work <3
Gg wp to
@boomesportsid
what an inspiring team. Thanks to
@GalaxyRacerDxb
and
@weplay_eu
for the amazing lan. It has been far too long. I'm proud of my team for how we played together this event and we will come back stronger.
As an update: I've made my draft analysis video for TI11, but won't release it until after the next patch (don't want to talk about drafts if we're potentially going to pick same heroes during DPC).
There are some cool innovations such as the rotating stage giving players way more warm up time in better conditions (getting to warm up and adjust to crowd noise is super cool) and drastically lowering down time between matches.
Wanted to give a shout-out to
@PurgeGamers
for helping get access back to my Twitter account. I was terrified of not being able to interact with the community at TI and he basically singlehandedly willed my account back to me.
God these sea qualifier games are so good. You can really see the experience from SEA pubs, where no one ever gives up and games regularly go longer than they would elsewhere. We're used to only seeing jackylmao never give up games, but now there's a full ti qualifier of em
Apparently, in the middle of my sleep last night, I woke up and sent the talent manager 4 frog emotes??? Haven't been jetlagged in over a year I think I'm losing my mind
Half the top leaderboard have each other added. With this new Dota plus feature, I'm watching a game live and can see both sides in real time (have a friend on both teams). We already had people cheat to climb leaderboards and this is basically maphack.
What a snap play in that last fight. Honestly VP were holding surprisingly well this late with these drafts but spirit are legit monsters. Amazing play from them
Always sad to see teams go home from ti but the games have been amazing. Thanks to everyone who has been watching me on panel and on the late game today <3
Nothing like the highs of winning and the lows of losing. I wish we had had a bit of time to practice, as we were improving really fast through this tournament and had more to show. It wasn't enough in the end. GGs
The amount of additional small plays coming out from
@TundraEsports_
and
@33Dota
in particular is absolutely phenomenal. Really impressed with their play this series.
Lgd picked a lineup designed to win sidelanes and snowball onto their lesh. Spirit outplayed them on both sidelanes (esp top) which allowed bane freedom to check runes and give puck fb. And then spirit gods had perfect patience and itemization.

Thanks to
@WePlayEsport
for the great minor. The tournament was so good that it has inspired me to try do something positive. Will make a blog and an educational Dota youtube video as I travel home. It's only been like four years since my last one rofl.
