Gonna reiterate the mechanics that @TundraEsports abused to win TI. Pick good offlane who buys Wraith Pact: Wraith Pact 30% damage reduc -> 70% dmg Mage Slayer 35% reduc -> 45.5% dmg Pipe blocks 400 raw dmg, 879 equiv. Pipe Aura 15% red -> 38.67% dmg Base Res 25% -> 29%

This is why they weren't scared of Lesh. Mage Slayer(from carry or other), plus Wraith Pact means Pipe gives everyone insane hp + survivability because of the rare way the mechanics work. Naga, normally SMASHED by aoe magic, like Lesh/Pudge Aghs, is protected, ESPECIALLY illus.

I played 13 ranked solo queue games last night with all roles selected and got Hard Support 12 times and Soft Support 1 time. I guess I have to manually turn it off once in a while. I don't really see how valve solves this 'problem' in a way that isn't way more convoluted.

so they picked strong heroes that fulfill these pillars of their drafting and then it kept games simpler for these top tier players while other teams were trying to figure out the meta. Tundra knew it was lifesteal + damage mitigation.
