I’ve been mostly neutral on the Astros catcher debate. I understand why the team values Maldonado so much. I understood giving Díaz time to grow into the catcher position. But, we’re down to the final 41 games. Díaz needs to catch at least 50% of those.

My grandma passed away right before game one last night. She was an Astros fan and leaves behind my grandpa, her husband of 65 years, who is the biggest Astros fan I know. Baseball has been a good distraction. An Astros WS win would really mean a lot to our family this year.
