@stoke_space @erikkuna This is so incredible to see! Leveraging the expander cycle engine to actively cool the heat shield is such an intuitive and brilliant solution to withstand reentry heating! Well done @stoke_space !

Elon Musk was absolutely right when he said “the factory is the product.” Vertical integration is essential when iterating at such a rapid pace and the team’s ability to manufacture these tanks and domes is just another sign of the innovation happening at Stoke! Congratulations!

Rocket tanks and domes are historically difficult, long lead, and expensive. We put manufacturing first with an innovative approach that we can do in-house with very small machines and limited tooling. These tanks and domes all started as commodity sheet metal less than one month

@SERobinsonJr Upper stage restart to raise perigee resulted in an engine RUD for reasons currently unknown. Team is reviewing data tonight to understand root cause. Starlink satellites were deployed, but the perigee may be too low for them to raise orbit. Will know more in a few hours.

@elonmusk @SERobinsonJr We knew this incredible run had to come to an end at some point, but 344 flights in a row is amazing! The team will fix the problem and start the cycle again

The booster reentry trajectory will result in higher heating and dynamic pressure on the booster than many of our historical landings. Although the reentry conditions are on the higher end of past missions, they are still acceptable. This landing attempt will test the bounds of
