Agree with @MayorJPalmer comment re A10 upgrade: "The timeline for delivery...is not as ambitious as I would have liked, with 2025 being identified as the year when construction will start. The aim needs to be for work on dualling the A10 to start within the next few years.”

UPDATE: Delighted to report that @EastCambs has just voted unanimously to support the purchase of the 88 MoD empty homes and the rest of the site in Ely, 15 of which will go into a Community Land Trust. LibDems on East Cambs also supported.

EAST CAMBS DISTRICT COUNCIL CALLS ON THE GCP TO STOP WORK ON THE CAMBRIDGE CONGESTION CHARGE Conservatives put forward the motion which the Lib Dems tried to amend in order to keep the Congestion Charge in place. Their amendment fell and I have therefore written to the GCP.
