@Zairenzu
Absolutely, but it could be a good marker for people who notice a drop in their work performance to consider checking their symptoms as many are iron deficient and don’t realise it
While
#anemia
is more commonly associated with women, men can also develop anemia or
#irondeficiency
. It can be caused by factors such as poor dietary intake of iron-rich foods, chronic diseases, or blood loss from conditions like ulcers or certain medications.
#MensHealth
Most iron supplements are best absorbed on an empty stomach if you can *stomach* it.
If not, try to avoid phytates (cereals, grains), polyphenols (coffee,tea), calcium, antacids, oxalates (fruits/vegetables), soy, eggs, tannins (wine) & caffeine as they can inhibit absorption.

#irondeficiency
is an issue that affects millions of women particularly in

Seeing multiple teenage girls who have had fatigue and heavy menses for years yet never had iron studies means there are still physicians out there that don’t get it.
For the love of God, send a ferritin.
@AllieofTruth
There are many ways but as everyone is an individual we recommend researching to be able to make an informed decision based on personal health. We will also share on our profile resources that might be useful, but one important thing if we are iron deficient is to find the cause

Why do we love nurses?
Beyond their compassionate care, nurses are economic powerhouses of healthcare. Advocacy for patients, early diagnosis, and treatment not only improves outcomes but saves hospitals significant costs.
