It was graduation day yesterday for our CA3s! They are such an incredible group of physicians ready to start their new roles as attendings and fellows. It's hard to say goodbye, but we are excited to see what this amazing group will accomplish next. Thank you for everything!🎓🎉

Today, we returned from our annual CA2 resident retreat! We had an absolute blast! We are so grateful to have such an incredible group of residents in our program. Hopkins ACCM class of 2025.

Lucky for our residents, they do not have to wait for this special day each year as they enjoy pizza on Fridays of non-College Day weeks thanks to the support of our amazing department!
Our incredible Chair, Dr. Muehlschlegel, offered an engaging oral board prep session to one of our amazing CA3s, Dr. Adegboye followed by some fun hands-on activities in Sim during College Day!

Today was the first College Day of the year! Dr. Schiavi is walking CA2, Dr. Kurian through an advance airway technique during emergent intubations. It was fun to see a successful intubation in 4 seconds.

CA1, Dr. Alexis Motz, had an exciting day with her first cardiac bypass case 12 months into her residency. Her team was led by our amazing CA2,Dr. Kristen Penberthy(pictured on the left),& the wonderful associate cardiothoracic anesthesia fellowship director, Dr. Megan Kostibas.
We had a yummy College Day Thanksgiving feast today! In this time of gratitude, we are giving thanks to all of our residents, faculty, and staff. Thank you for all that you do! 🦃🍁
Today was a fun-filled day spent with our ACCM family and friends! The Residents & Fellows Annual Picnic is never complete without a friendly volleyball competition & lessons on how to deshell a crab with ACCM interim director Dr. Saperstine & residency director Dr. Wolpaw.
