Totally agree. And yet there are still surgeons undertaking endocrine surgery in the UK who do not contribute to the mandatory outcomes database - where is concerted response to this issue

This really illustrates the pension problem well. It’s is impossible for normal people to work out in advance how much tax they will pay. Not just to the nearest pound more like the nearest £10k. Not good

@djbeckett Sadly just done the same. 42yr old, no PP. Dropped 2 sessions (a clinic and a theatre session) and know the impact this will have on patients but hit with unexpected 5 figure tax bill. Have also opted out of pension temporarily for belt and braces approach. ☹️ #ScrapTheTaper

Noticeable that the there are high numbers from more deprived groups who are not optimised. Collaborative working to help all patients

There is an issue here but lots can be done at Trust level. GMC “Safe to Refer” is a good starting point. Good onboarding to Trusts too. Lots to do
