Started watching Liverpool F.C. when I was 10 when we were in Div 2. Shanks said we would rule the World one day. Well I'm 68 now and Bill was right - tonight we're World Club Champions and I can't help thinking of Shanks, Bob, Joe and Ronnie in their Boot Room up there! YNWA!

I've been told I cannot publish my Hillsborough Statement as it's a piece of evidence! I politely told the Gentleman from Court that as there's "no case to answer" and case closed my statement once again belongs to me! I seem to have caused some anxiety within the court system!!

So after a wonderful weekend with Family and Friends I can now say it:- I HAVE BEATEN OESOPHAGUS CANCER. Five yrs ago today they removed the tumour and saved my life. Forever grateful and in debt to our wonderful NHS and Liverpool Royal Hospital. I Never Walked Alone!

I had the most important phone call of my life today with my Surgeon who performed my Cancer surgery in 2018. He told me that I had Beaten my Stage 4 Oesophagus Cancer now that I'm 5 yrs post surgery. Only 1% chance of it returning! I'm tired, emotional but so grateful ...1/2

I'm back home from Hospital after 10 days and have had my Tumour removed. I don't always agree with Sir Alex but today 100% agree about my amazing Team of Doctors ,Nurses and Support that has brought me home! Truly amazed at my surgery and now I continue recovery. #thankyou

Goodbye 2023, the only good thing about it was a phone call from my Consultant in July to say I had now beaten Cancer and once again my life changed in a moment. Relief, delight and tears in equal measure. Living every day to the full and wishing you all The Very Best for 2024 👍

Second Chemotherapy session starts tomorrow. So my fightback continues as unpleasant as it is it gives me my chance to fight back so I'll take it! Some of my fear has gone having been through it once and I'm ready. Steroids taken and should have early night but I'm bouncing! Ha!

The @FA have underestimated the force of feeling in Steps 3-7 of Non-League. They think this level is run by amateurs as a hoppy! The conversations and actions underway both legally and organisationally will mean a huge split in Non-League. It's about the Clubs not the F.A.

17/2/2018 - They found a Tumour in my Oesophagus. Turned out to be Stage 4 Cancer. The most frightening time of my life. 16/7/2018 - Successful 7 hr operation to remove the tumour. More Chemo followed and the recovery continued. Fought with everything I had......... 1/2

My Grandad Mr Robson Roberts then Vice-Chairman of LFC collapsed and Died in the Directors Box at this game. He can be seen in the photo boarding the plane to the game. I was 8 and he bought me my first Football Book that Xmas which I still have. Always remembered. RIP.

12 months today I had surgery that saved my life from Oesophacal Cancer. Tumour removed I'm now in recovery and in Hospital tomorrow for checks etc. Once again huge thanks to our wonderful NHS for their care and support. I owe you everything and fund raising starts this month!

So today as always on 15/4 I went to Anfield to contemplate and remember! Today I met Jurgen in the memorial garden. Just a smile, good morning and thank you for coming and a nod. Lifted my heart on such a sad day, I love my Club and my City! Together we remember and we all YNWA!

Two years today since the nine hour surgery to remove the oesophical tumour that saved my life! The NHS were Magnificent in there care for me and my subsequent recovery. I'm blessed and continually gratful on this my 2nd "New Birthday". God Bless Our NHS and The Royal Liverpool!

So Dermot Gallagher agrees with me. As soon as Silva gains an advantage with a hand ball it's free kick to Liverpool. TAA's hand ball becomes irrelevant. Having played on City just didn't defend it well enough!

RIP Jack Charlton. A lovely Man who made me laugh at a Sportsman dinner back in 2003 at Burnley. So understated for a man who achieved the ultimate in his career! Shanks wanted him at Liverpool but couldn't agree a fee! Sad Day indeed!
