@antiviral_mktng What's not to love about things that allow you to breathe clean air no matter where you go?

I so wish at least a single nurse/doctor, out of every single one I talked to last summer, told me "if you're that anxious about your health, why don't you start wearing a mask to avoid COVID?". I so so so regret getting COVID and am not comfortable in my own body anymore.

@amandalhu @sameo416 @canadapostcorp @canadaposthelps So bizarre, right? Like people are suddenly feeling more uncomfortable and scared of masks, so they get antsy unless they can get you to show your face? I swear I'm feeling a shift in attitudes toward masking from even this winter. It's really concerning me.

P. S. Apologies for being quiet and delays in following up lately. I'm still feeling weak & weird after quitting Prozac just over a month ago. Life has been hectic, too. Getting there... Slowly. Please don't freak out if you see me replying to your old stuff weeks later πŸ˜…

@antiviral_mktng I'm so confused why people are even doing this? I haven't seen any evidence of Naomi attacking anyone. What are they gaining from it? And so many of us are actually benefitting from her fantastic products???

@ADHDForReal What? I don't have sensitivities and I just don't notice stuff like that. Still diagnosed ADHD but can't relate to the sensory stuff at all. πŸ˜•

@salamasinamusic I've accepted people's choice to not mask, too. But seeing some of my loved ones develop obvious health issues after infection while continuing to not take precautions is so heartbreaking. I don't know if it's possible to get totally desensitized to that.

@alyssaschwartz @getmaple Thank you for this info. I've considered using Maple before for a couple things here and there. Was expecting top health expertise for the extra $$$. Extremely disappointing.

@talulahshARC Personally, the only fatigue comes from trying to navigate fundamentally unsafe situations, trouble connecting to some people like family who used to be a support, and figuring out how to help things in society go in a better direction. No fatigue around actual precautions. Hmm.

@keetmuise Absolutely. Masking is part of "clean air". I can't believe some people separate the two. There's no way we can control our air quality 100% of the time, no matter where we go. That's where masks come in.

@amandalhu @sameo416 @canadapostcorp @canadaposthelps Right? I'm really feeling this pressure to look very stylish with zero sketch anywhere in public now. I got harrassed for masking for the first time a month ago. I've been putting even more energy now into looking absolutely on point, with my mask blending into my outfit. This

First go at testing a PAPR. This is the AirBoss Flexair respirator. I did an OSHA protocol sans grimace. The tighter the hood, the higher the score, but small gaps still yielded a higher score than most of my disposables. Caveat: I tested outdoors, fairly windy. Conclusion:

Here's the thing about COVID mitigations. No matter how much you isolate, you will still need to go into high-risk situations sooner or later. Some of us will choose to do more optional high-risk activities and use our best protection possible there. We all have different mental
