Coaches…. I know this is controversial and there are different opinion’s but we definitely need to throw our kids either Saturday or Sunday but not both. Take a moment and add both up including the kids warm ups, in between innings, might scare you.
100%- the chance of a parent costing a kid an opportunity for being a crazy/power parent.
10%- the chances you will actually hear about the opportunity you caused them.
Remember…It’s THEIR hard work and effort, don’t ruin it for them.
My guys being Rockstars this summer. Winning TBS, 3rd out of 82 in ATL and then finished 3rd in the gruesome PGI in Mississippi where we finished with only 10 guys. Baseball is good for the soul. We>Me.

Shout out to all the coaches who do not show up your players on the field when they mess up. The harder thing to do is usually the right thing to do. Your players will respect you more, especially as they get older.
Check this out if you are 11u or above! These camps can be great experience since they are a way of life as your baseball journeys continues into the older ages.

Just a reminder youth coaches… you are not measured on your wins and losses. You are measured on coaching and the impact you have on your players. Embrace the journey, not the race!!
Coaches, if you’re truly trying to keep your players on their development journey, you have to get them beat. Do not protect records or stats. Especially… when they are young.
