Coming out of my depressive isolation to add my shake to this. As someone who was prediabetic and predisposed to diabetes and heart disease (my hispanic genetics are a blessing and a curse. Fat ass, but a fear of my internal organs coming after me) finding “healthier”… (1/5)
To the surprise of no one, those shakes are… quite effective, if your objective is gaining.
(They are also not a balanced meal, so drink at your own risk)
Sometimes I’m just sitting down and the pressure that my gut will put on some of my shirts immediately makes me assume I’m bloated.
Then I realize I’ve hardly eaten anything and that I just have a bit of a gut now, no bloating to be found :03
shake options has always been a priority of mine. I’ve always felt a disparity between white and ethnic gainers and the recipes you see circulate in the fatfur/gainer community, I feel, reflect that. Although yes this doesn’t fix the balancing issue as stated in the… (2/5)
Not to mention the added sugar content!! I always hated how a lot of recipes call for ice cream. As someone who’s lactose (I use lactose free half n half) and scared of diabetes, finding those calorie-dense, low-sugar alternatives means everything… (4/5)
quoted tweet, most of the fats are unsaturated!! By all means, if you’re willing to sacrifice a few hundred calories, swap out the half n half for some other low-fat alternative!! Hell I usually cut this recipe in half for an easy 14oz treat. (3/5)

Literally had a minor follow me the other day. Their bio LITERALLY had “minor” and “NSFW DNI”. Drawing fat people isn’t nsfw, yeah, but there’s a reason vore, weight gain, and blueberry are called FETISHES.
@catrubs
God that means so much to hear aaa.
I’m really hoping that one of these days there will be a shift in the community and healthier gaining will be something that will be more developed upon. So glad to hear that the recipe has helped! It’s far from perfect but it’s a start :3
@EtherealFox_
The half n half is fine on occasion, but high amounts of saturated fats is linked with increased risk of diabetes. After my health scare i’m too terrified of foods that are high is sugar and saturated fats. I’d rather take the long route and not be worried :3
@EtherealFox_
Thanks for the tips, but this is far from my first time ordering them :D
I plan on doing one or two a day and mixing them into my workout smoothies to make them last.
But yes i’m definitely gonna have some fun :03
