May this your next song/project be the one hit that strikes the gold you have been digging to find. May the lines fall in place for you this time around. It doesn't matter how ready you are, when it's time for the universe to favour you, no gate keeper can stop it. Believe.

Some emerging Artistes are now so skilled & informed that they can easily make good music without a producer or A&R, whilst managing themselves. What emerging Artistes desire the most now is platforms that gives them visibility & funding, even more than A&R or manager service.

A Talent Manager is satisfied when the Artiste is releasing music & getting shows - even if the Artiste isn't making money. But a Business Mgr’s No. 1 priority is that the amount of money coming in is more than what's going out, by ensuring the Artiste is valuable to a market.👇

Music/brand promotion recommendation for Ruby (an imaginary emerging female Artiste) I did a review of your most recent promotion, that you and your manager expended about 3.2M to feature on playlists, ads and pay influencers. I discovered that you generated an average of 4,632

Dear creative, Joseph was a guy who had a clear vision & talent but spent years languishing in prison. He, like every other young person belived in his vision, but his reality was the opposite That's how you may feel right now as an emerging Artiste, producer or professional.

The Artiste who best satisfies the market gets more reward than the Artiste trying to sound better than other Artistes in the game.

There's no way I will sign an artiste and they wouldn't blow. Either their music, clothing line, movies or participation in a popular reality tv show will make them famous and rich. 80% of the time, the success of a label depends largely on the quality of artiste they sign,

Whether your music is dope or wack, you are steps ahead of any artiste who's trying so hard to sound like Wizkid, Rema, Omalay or Victony. Your uniqueness makes you special, rare & separates you like a brown sheep amongst white. Be confident in your originality, it will pay off

Dear Artiste, If you want to have abundant resources to push your music & still have surplus to store, ensure you always honour God by making Him an offering from the money you make from your hustle. continue to do this as you make more money in music. It works, do it always.

Dear Artiste, Make friends with a lot of other Artistes from far and near, & from all genres of music. Collaborate with as many as are better than you. Any of your artiste friends can blow, & you know what that can do for you and the song you did with them. Collaborate.

There's something that happens to an artiste from the day they get their first big check. The money reduces the impact of poverty on their minds. That is why a regular artiste becomes 5x better in their craft when they get some major cash or funding.

Essentially, not everyone will take interest or like the music related content you post. But you must feel appreciative to those who engage consistently. As we continue to share content & add value to our audience, this is me saying thank you to all who engage & show support.

‘You've a good voice & you sound like Omalay’ is not a compliment. Using Odumodu’s street slangs like ‘Kala’ & ‘Ekelebe’ in your raps won't make you appear original or tough. It is okay to be inspired by another Artiste, but you can't copy their uniqueness, story or experience.
