attempts to see a movie in the theater every single day for an entire year. He’ll also review each movie & complain about the endeavor.
Last episode up! A trusty sidekick joins the show to talk You Won’t Be Alone, Everything Everywhere All At Once, Morbius, The Devil You Know, Navalny, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and why the show is ending.
I did go to the theaters today. Took two negative COVID tests. Still have 102 fever. I saw Sonic The Hedgehog 2 and it managed to be the worst part of my day. Saw it at Regal Fox Run though so 30/30 is out of the question.
Called an audible late yesterday and drove to Rhode Island right after seeing The Godfather last night. It may be the smallest state but when it comes to saving this podcast, it’s gigantic.
In Albany. Still snowing but should be done by 2. Obviously not blizzard conditions. Let’s just hope the movie theaters didn’t overreact to the blizzard news and close. Have about 5 theaters within city limits so hopefully that gives me some options.
You may have heard the vicious lies and rumors that 2022 begins on January 3rd but I am here to assure you that New Year’s Day is still January 1st and the year will start with this movie.
New episode!
@JeffDLowe
joins the show to talk Spider-Man: No Way Home. We go over the trilogy, Jeff gives his Top 10 Marvel movies, we talk greatest casting choices ever, NYC movie theater experiences & more! Also, I review the horrible Tyson’s Run.
Place is going through some sort of massive remodel. Hallways don’t have lights and there is this wild mess. But they had the courage to open their doors today so I don’t give a fuck. Huzzah Showcase!
Top 100. Unreal. Thank you all so much for subscribing based on just the trailer. It’s tough for an independent podcast to get a start like this. I genuinely appreciate it.
New episode up! Spoke with Jonathan Kieran from
@CinemaSalem
about how movie theaters work with studios. Also, a review of Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner.
Looks like I’ve got 5 movies locked for January in NH and Massachusetts that wouldn’t get wide releases and already have dates and times.
1/7 C’Mon, C’mon
1/12 The Novice
1/13 Back To The Future
1/26 Casablanca
1/27 Hive
What's at stake depending on storm track/exact point of strengthening? Of course, snow amounts - also wind gust frequency/intensity - strengthening near but off the coast would introduce blizzard potential, and coastal flood potential. 3 important factors hanging in the balance.
New episode up! American Underdog, Nightmare Alley, box office report, Assembly Row in Somerville and does Kurt Warner think Mike Martz is an asshole? Also…a sidekick joins the show!
New episode!

**Schedule Update**
Show won’t be up tomorrow at 6 AM but will be up around 10 AM instead. Seeing a movie tonight much later than expected. Talking Casablanca and The King’s Daughter with
@SnarkNed
. This should give you all 4 more hours to see an 80 year old movie.
Just went to a movie theater for the first time in almost two years and let me just say: I’m ready to bring back lockdowns & shutdowns. Licorice Pizza is one or 5 worst movies ever made. Can’t wait for it to sweep Golden Globes. What a piece of rancid, pretentious, hot garbage.

@KevSkarupaWMUR
You see an ad for this movie and think it looks stupid and laugh. I see an ad for this movie and know I’ll be getting punished for a crime I didn’t commit.
New episode up! Talking about the two worst movies on this journey so far (Venom 2 and The 355), BarnZ’s Cinema in Barrington, NH and the weekly box office report.
New episode up! West Side Story, Parallel Mothers,
@KendallCinema

@mattzollerseitz
If anyone thinks it’s just smaller films that have vanished, Cocoon was a massive hit by one of the biggest directors of the last 40 years.
Go try to stream it.
