Stay on your club team!!! Convince your boys to stay on your club team!!! Set a long term goal of beating the team that’s “better” than you right now. Loyalty is important it’s how you build chemistry and see what you’re really made of! Invest in yourself, people will follow 🙏🏾

Heck you could even have the semi pro leagues fund the youth stuff, maybe like an academy system similar to soccer so it’s mutually beneficial sooner than just scattered clinics, but that requires a relationship to begin with.

If players aspiring to play on the best team felt like being a leader, building a program, even showing loyalty was valued by the top clubs then they wouldn’t leave their larger role to be reduced to a smaller role on a “better” team just to have that on their resume and network

If this wasn’t the norm, young developing players could stick with their teams and attract better developmental coaches and actually develop year to year instead of being pigeon holed early in their careers by trying to earn PT on a new team (wether youre young or not)

…that looks like youth ultimate being mainly local orgs. Anything other than the “typical college A team” being ignored (B team tournaments being canceled, community college athletes not being allowed to compete). A refusal to have a relationship with semi pro leagues whatsoever
