Arsenal football club went from having supreme technical quality all over the pitch to having 6 defensive minded players + wingers regularly in the last line of defence.. how has this been widely accepted
Nothing he said is wrong. Arsenal fans don’t seem to understand our biggest issue is controlling the midfield. Every side Rice has played for has had these issues. It’s not a coincidence
Pep was terrified of Garnacho & Rashford transitioning (United’s only trick, but a f*cking good one) so he put Foden & Bernardo behind the ball & killed City’s momentum from minute 1-25.
By the time he changed (Stones stepping forward, Foden 1 up etc). it was too late and the
I’m so confused. People really think Rice shouldn’t be doing more in possession ? £105mil spent to be a destroyer.. maybe I’m holding him to too high of a standard

Palmer is Englands only 10 who can score, create, do quick combos & carry the ball well.. Jude & Foden are lacking in one or two of these imo
An attacking midfielder should not struggle playing out wide especially when they’re given freedom to roam. Look at Musiala & listen to the excuses being made for foden

I don’t think our game plan was perfect. The fact we was so defensive & still created the better chances makes me think if we had been braver we win imo
This ain’t fair on Eddie. They blocked his move to Marseille over 2mil when he had agreed personal terms. How can they deny him that & expect him to agree to whatever suits them
I want to make this clear, Arsenal did everything for Nottingham Forrest to secure Eddie. Everything our end was done.
Eddie & his team vetoed it final stages because of agency fees / wage consolidation.
I wonder who the agency is hmmm..
Our wingers are our most threatening players. They get double teamed regularly … the midfield is open yet we fail to cause damage there... Any elite 6 is having a field day if they see the opposition defending like that

100%.. he used to always pop into dangerous areas now he’s hanging back. It’s not a coincidence Imo he’s suffered from poor coaching.. got stick vs Bayern cos he didn’t follow kimmich to the box even tho there was plenty of defenders. Same vs Aston Villa
I love Havertz but these types of comments are the reason why there’s a lack of top quality strikers itw... Why can’t a striker do this & also score? Why does it have to be either or.. coaches encouraging this are a problem
Julian Nagelsmann defends Havertz:
"He has a clear job in many games, which means that he doesn't have many ball actions because he should create space for others. He did that exceptionally well. In the internal assessment, Kai is ranked much higher than in the public."
