Just spoken to the kindest doctor! He was kind, efficient and prescribed what I desperately need to fix very painful, infected ears. I have become so depressed by everything just this small display of kindness has reduced me to a blubbering mess. Crazy!

I may come over a tad bitter. Most 1950s born women are. Those who were contracted to retire at 60 paid their dues but have to wait 6 years extra for their pensions. Some of whom are in poverty. Homes gone. If any had savings, that's gone. Forced to work until age 66. #Backto60

@premnsikka Yes. Just got tax code & will be taxed on small work pension. Had sinking feeling when brown envelope delivered & every day since. Waited extra 6 yrs for State Pension, had 44 (full years) out of 49 working years, was so relieved to retire. Now this. Never ending misery. No life

Managed until now, age 65 (April). Year to go TIL SPA. CAB helping re debts. Health/mental/physical issues knocked me off feet. Cap in hand for benefits now. Hate this Country & Govt evil policies. Nothing now. No home of my own, no money, no future

If you don't want us to have Pensions #UKGovernment stop taking our National INSURANCE Contributions. Unless you call these payments Extra Tax & not con the nation into believing having paid 50 years worth of INSURANCE payments that Govt would honour Contracts with UK citizens!!
