grinding doesn't really work in any game. Doing the fundamentals: sleep, nutrition, exercise and mental health on top of getting quality practice that challenges your deficits will make you the most consistent player.
The worst thing you can do when you’re playing like shit is to keep sitting in your chair getting tilted. Stand up and do squats for 3 minutes until you are breathing so hard you can’t speak. Try this once and tell me you don’t feel different hopping into the next game.

I'm a physical therapist and I've definitely seen completely out of the blue strong emotional reactions (sobbing, laughing etc) on multiple occasions from different patients as a reaction to deep tissue / myofascial work. The body, brain and spirit are inherently linked!
Really disappointing to see healthcare professionals in the university setting have such negative viewpoints toward esports athletes. It's absolutely critical that we train healthcare professionals to understand the very real needs of our competitive gaming population.
This survey study of athletic trainers working in the collegiate setting showcased a concerning negative viewpoint of these healthcare professionals toward esports athletes. With 39.9% reporting a negative sentiment.

My grandfather in Romania passed today at the age of 97 with a full head of hair and all his wits, still played the mandolin and solved trig problems for fun. He climbed 4 flights of stairs every day multiple times a day. Movement is the key to life. Rest in peace grandpa. 😇

The systemic problem in esports is how there is no set medical infrastructure by the publisher. This piecemeal adoption of medical systems gives us no authority to actually implement necessary interventions or make return-to-play decisions like tsports infrastructure does.
Just so I dont have to explain anything over and over because people have no idea what they’re talking about. I’m also a contractor brought in to provide physical therapy services. That’s the extent of what my license allows for
