In options there seems to be a new algo participant who is using the contra pre move to trap the market players before sharp reversal in opposite direction. This algo seems to be trapping momentum algo players.This pattern seen in last 3 days.

This 150 point fall in 20 min has a lesson for option traders. 1. Always have your stop loss. 2. Option writers should stay away if day mtm stop is triggered if iv is extremely low. 3.With Bank nifty expiry shifting to Wednesdays, Tuesday & Thursdays have been brutal.

Nifty has formed a inside candle after a shooting star & is standing at a make or break level of 9100 if bulls succeed in closing above 9150 expect a price retest of 9500 and a close below 9000 can lead to 8500 , the fight between bulls&bears might take a few sessions to clear .
