My first year in the UK- I joined English classes and I introduced myself Kurdish from Kurdistan without knowing that there was a Turkish guy in the class. He shouted and said there is no Kurdistan and Kurds. The classroom was international and the teacher only said no Politics!

To Kurdish linguists and experts! There are 6 words for "hero" in Kurdish: Qehreman,gernas,mêrxas,çeleng,fêris, and egîd but all masculine and I couldn't find a way to use them for both female and male. To be honest I do not want to use any of these words for females.

We #kurds from the North have had enough persecution of #Turkish government. I have experienced myself how they are barbaric and horrendous. We don’t want Turkish occupation,we don’t want more Kurds to be persecuted by Turkish authority in our land. Enough is enough.

I was talking at Red Cross about the Turkey’s invasion today and I said there: thanks to god that there are some people at the White House writing @realDonaldTrump ’s statements and letters. “If he write his statements as he tweets what would we do? Here you go!

I am really impressed by the work @IKWRO does in the UK under such a difficult conditions. Yes, exactly in the UK where they still consider “honour killing” as part of other cultures and they think they should respect that. Have a look at the case of Banaz and Heshu.
