Per our media and medical team, Kale Kessy was struck in a fight. He lost, but regained consciousness on the ice. He is alert, and in stable condition, and being transported to a local medical facility. Kessy told his teammates before leaving the ice, “go win the game.” #HBH

Hard to believe it's already been 2 years since I made my NHL debut. I'll always remember Feb. 20, 2018. A dream come true, and it's motivated me to work harder than ever and continue to improve. Forever thankful to @WaltonCaps and @CapitalsRadio for the opportunity!

Thanks everyone for the kind words so far. Took 10 mins or so to get settled in and get rid of the butterflies but in a rhythm now! Big Eller goal, now need a 3rd Period comeback for the #ALLCAPS

Kudos to Spencer Carbery for getting everything and more out of a #Caps group who few expected to be in the playoffs. Lots of young kids who came through @TheHersheyBears look like long term players for Washington. Excited to see them keep growing.

There is the news you've been waiting for Bears fans. Seven from the #Caps to Hershey, including 4 returning Calder Cup Champs! Note on Iorio, he won't appear on Hershey's roster until he's cleared to return, but will be here working towards getting back to game action.

Can't end the day without this: Six years ago, @kfisch614 and I were married on the beach in Puerto Vallarta 🇲🇽. Several moves later, a lot less hair for me, and now a family of three, I wouldn't trade any of it. Happy Anniversary to my better half!

MASSIVE signing for the Bears with the addition of Brad Hunt. A veteran leader who is beloved everywhere he's been. A point producing machine who led the Eagles in scoring. Can quarterback a PP and has a lethal shot. Extensive NHL experience. Played for Todd Nelson previously.

We've signed all-star defenseman Brad Hunt to an AHL contract for the 2024-25 season. The veteran led the Colorado Eagles with 49 points last season and was a AHL First All-Star Team member. Welcome, Huntsy! 📰

Kale Kessy told his team to go out and win, that they did. 6-1 @TheHersheyBears beat Charlotte tonight. Very scary night at Giant Center. Very difficult to try and put that into words. All I can say is thank god Kessy is okay, thank god for the amazing work by the medical team.

Man, the season ending never gets easier. So proud of this @TheHersheyBears team for the ride they took us on. From last place in the AHL in December to a team that won a playoff series. So much potential ahead, and a special group. An honor to work with these guys.

BEARS WIN! Hershey levels the Calder Cup Finals at 1-1 with a 5-2 win tonight at GIANT Center. Shepard the #1 Star with 32 saves. Off to California tonight for three games next week in Palm Desert. #RepeatTheRoar

BEARS WIN! Hershey moves to 51-12-0-5, ties AHL record for most wins in a 72-game season. Bears have won five straight, finish season series 8-2-0-2 vs Phantoms. Magic Number is 1 to win AHL's regular season crown.
