tired of seeing things like this: the concept of hijab in Islam is deeply rooted in the principles of dignity, respect, and protection. women in Islam are highly valued, and the hijab serves as a means to honor that value by preserving modesty and dignity.
hijab was actually the first reason i started to question religions as a kid. because i could not find a non sexist reason why i should dress like this as it implies i am inherently a sex object.
once you realize religions are made by men to control people, primarily women.
my friend just gave me the best advice: avoid getting too attached to someone you met online. it's easy to fall for their words instead of their actions. so true
in terms of natural instincts, men generally have stronger visual sexual impulses. this isn’t about endorsing these impulses but recognizing them and taking measures to create a respectful environment. no one wants a man lusting after their wife, and modesty helps to prevent that
women naturally want to look beautiful, but modesty preserves that beauty for the right context. why should everything be visible to everyone? modesty is about preserving something precious and not exposing it to just anyone. this just shows the importance of women in Islam.
@yarendenizucar
Islam does address men’s behavior as well. the Quran instructs men to lower their gaze and maintain modesty (Quran 24:30). everyone has to do their part to prevent certain things from happening. women have desires too but, it’s in men’s natural instincts to hunt.
@yarendenizucar
men should definitely be held more accountable, both societally and religiously, but this doesn’t mean women shouldn’t dress modestly. we will never live in a perfect world sadly. both men and women need to do their part to create a respectful society, in my opinion
I’m sickened by those who justify this hatred and violence. It disgusts me to know that such people not only exist but also believe they’re righteous. Spare me your excuses about refugees not working or contributing in Türkiye; stop generalizing them.
on this blessed day of Ashura, spend time with your loved ones, fast, pray, give sadaqah, and reflect on your faith. as we remember Allah saving Musa عليه السلام and the children of Israel, let's not forget to pray for a free Palestine <3
@yarendenizucar
like I said; this isn’t about excusing their behaviour but acknowledging reality. Of course men should be held accountable, you are right, I understand, but this is not only a problem in Islam. Our whole society works that way sadly. Her şey istediğimiz gibi olmuyor maalesef… :/
may Eid al-Adha bring peace, joy, and blessings to your heart and home. 🌙✨ let us remember the essence of sacrifice and the importance of helping those in need. Eid Mubarak
football is undeniably political, whether we like it or not. the decision to ban Russia from playing while overlooking the situation in Gaza and allowing Israel to try out for the euros as a 'Middle-Eastern country' proves this. don't deny the politics in football—it's there

the day of Arafah is a time to renew your faith and seek Allah's forgiveness. as the sun sets, may you leave behind your sins and walk towards a path of righteousness and piety
So you want a righteous man? But do you know what that means?
It means he won't take you out on your birthday. He won't celebrate anniversaries. He will want you to cover according to the Quran and Sunnah. He won't allow you to attend those free mixed weddings. He won't allow
the racists have found my tweet 😭 it's hilarious how much effort they put into hating on others. must be exhausting… well, just so you know, i’m not going anywhere anytime soon
instead of complaining on twitter, provide your maid with proper cleaning supplies then. it’s just a cleanser, trust me, u will live. also, BOYCOTT CERAVE
sometimes, unanswered prayers are blessings in disguise. i spent years praying for something i thought was good for me, only to realize Allah’s plan holds greater wisdom. trust in His plan, for there’s khair in everything
Today and always, we stand with our Bosniak brothers and sisters, remembering the Srebrenica genocide. The world pledged "never again" after the Holocaust, yet it happened in Srebrenica and is now happening AGAIN in Gaza…

Başörtüsü taktığım için Arap mı oluyorum? Bu, bana Allah’ın farz kıldığı bir emirdir. Ayrıca, Meryem annemizin ismini taşımaktan da gurur duyuyorum.
you might like salmon, but i LOVE salmon. i have it for breakfast, lunch and dinner at least 4 times a week. this is no exaggeration, just pure passion…
“O you who believe! Stand out firmly for Allah as just witnesses; and let not the enmity and hatred of others make you avoid justice. Be just, that is nearer to taqwa; and have fear of Allah. Verily, Allah is Well-Acquainted with what you do.”
سورة المائدة [5:8]
i understand that everyone has their own preferences, and it's valid to want to avoid cultural complications in marriage. however, SOME of the replies i received were clearly racially motivated, which is disappointing.
How do you sleep at night knowing you’ve shattered innocent lives, including children’s? How can you live with yourselves? How are you any different from the Zionists? You’re just as easily manipulated, heartless, and vile. You’re equally despicable, devoid of humanity.
Alhamdulillah, i was raised by an open-minded father who taught me to love all races and never discriminate. as my dad would say, "why would i forbid something Allah hasn’t forbidden?" may Allah bless my father abundantly. nationalism is a harmful ideology.
i’d rather support pro-Palestinian countries over zionist ones. happiness in any form shouldn't be granted to those who perpetuate injustice, even in football. so happy Spain won
