Has to be the best performance since winter break. The players were giants out there. Clearly a level above the diets. A swashbuckling display, allied to real grit & heart. Panache that punished. Determination that delivered. Fantastic from the team, & the fans were immense👏💚🍀

Grateful as I am for the pen, this handball rule is a shambles. I thought it was disgraceful when the likes of Bernabei’s was given and that was similar. Deflection takes it behind him. It’s just not good enough. It’s inherently unfair.

Again, all communication in respect of VAR incidents should be available to the broadcaster & via headsets to the crowd as in rugby. Transparency is the only answer to claims of corruption or incompetence. It works in every other sport using the tech. What are they scared of?

@StanCollymore Blame a difference. Default of the unthinking, being herded by those who benefit from the misdirection. Polish plumbers, Romanian fruit pickers etc etc. Always an ‘other’ to be blamed. Never the person in the mirror, or the guy pissing down ur leg & telling u it’s raining.
