This is what my cousin sent me.
For many displaced Darfuris, this triggers very dark memories. They ask that we share so that the world knows stuff like this continues to prevail in Darfur.

I have videos from relatives in Darfur. I’ll share them with yall and try to get more. It’s difficult to get in touch with our families.
The RSF is currently burning down villages in Mukjar, West Darfur State. The first & longest genocide of the 21st century continues.
Before I leave this world, I want the world to know about the atrocities that prevail in Darfur. I want the world to know about the forms of subjugation darker skin & non-arab Sudanis experience in our homeland. I’ve made peace with the fact that this might make me a target.
The war in Sudan is also an environmental issue, and I will never stop saying this. The extraction of gold, burning of villages, and the unsustainable displacement of people into major camps and cities are severely damaging to both our cause and our livelihoods. The liberation of
🚨URGENT🚨 I AM RASING $3600 FOR A DISABLED SUDANESE FRIEND IN HUNGARY WHO IS LOSING HER HOUSING IN A FEW DAYS. SHE MADE A SECURITY DEPOST ON AN APT ONLY FOR THE LANDLORD TO WITHDRAW HER APP & KEEP THE DEPOSIT — SHE IS TAKING HIM TO COURT! PLEASE HELP!!!!
i can’t even emphasize “stop buying blood gold” from the UAE enough
the RSF funds their genocide campaign by exporting smuggled BLOOD gold to the UAE. in 2022 alone Sudan exported 2.29 BILLION US DOLLARS worth of gold to the UAE.
You aren’t a real ally to Sudan if you don’t acknowledge the UAE’s heavy involvement in our genocide.
Stop vacationing in Dubai.
Stop buying blood gold.
#KeepEyesOnSudan
Do you want to know what’s gruesome? Khartoum has become a sanctuary for carnivorous birds. European vultures are altering their migration patterns and heading to Sudan to consume the decomposing corpses of war victims on our streets. 1/2

yall please keep my family in your duas ❤️🩹 my uncle & cousins traveled back to khartoum from qadarif over a week ago & no one has heard from them since then.
Killing our doctors & first responders to ensure their ethnic cleansing campaigns are successful. Decades of this in Darfur. The RSF/Janjaweed are now executing the same mechanisms across Sudan. Darfur is Sudan. I’m disheartened by how little we’ve grasped the turmoil that’s
Attacks by the Rapid Support Forces and allied militias in El Geneina, capital of Sudan’s West Darfur state, from April to November 2023, killed at least thousands of people.
Jamal Abdullah Khamis, a human rights lawyer from El Geneina, describes some of what he witnessed ⤵️
❤️🩹 and this is what the RSF/janjaweed does. they loot and occupy our homes, then cleanse us from our land. this is what life is like & has been like in Darfur for over 20 years.
I extend immense grace to those who don’t know what’s happening or are discomforted by it. I have so much love for my homeland despite never feeling this love reciprocated. Sometimes we perpetuate violence on ourselves. It’s our collective responsibility to end the cycle.
I have videos from relatives in Darfur. I’ll share them with yall and try to get more. It’s difficult to get in touch with our families.

oh god. cut the yapping.
the way this thread made me sick. critical thinking and inserting yourself into conversations where you lack critical knowledge.
Just know that when they say that 150,000 Sudanese people are predicted to perish in this war, expect that number to be closer to or more than a million. They said the same thing about Darfur, yet Darfuris have reiterated that the death toll from the genocide is over a million.
An FYI that the“Eyes On…” phrase has been predominantly used in Sudanese spaces since 2019 to ensure that people were aware of & centering Darfuri & other significantly marginalized Sudanese peoples experience’s during the Sudanese revolution. The initial “Eyes on Darfur”
Hi friends! I am still trying to raise funds for a disabled Sudanese woman in Hungary who WILL be homeless at the end of this month. Please donate & share. She is in need of URGENT help.
$573/$2700
According to ppl on ground, more than 40 homes were destroyed in yesterday’s fire. This happened two days after army bombings took place in Eastern Darfur and killed 10 people.
Hi, my relatives are escaping the war in Sudan & seeking refuge in Egypt. I am asking for any donations to support them. The immediate goal is $2500 to help cover for their medical expenses, food, clothes, and hygienic products. Anything helps, thank you.
Sudani ppl addressing the rampant anti-blackness in arab communities does not mean they are against the liberation of Palestine. These conversations been had for decades. I’m not going to entertain this topic anymore bc i truly don’t care abt antiblack weirdos. just get a grip
My 20 year old cousin, a college student, passed away from Dengue Fever in Nyala, Darfur this Ramadan. We got news of her passing just a few days ago. Not only are preventable diseases killing people in Sudan, but families don’t find out abt loved ones death until weeks later.
Reports show that European migratory birds are not leaving Sudan at usual rates because of their access to “large quantities of human flesh” & increased survivability in affected area like Khartoum, Darfur, Kordofan. 2/2
#KeepEyesOnSudan
#EyesOnDarfur
There are decomposing bodies everywhere & dogs biting people because they’re use to consuming human flesh. Khartoum smells like hell’s gates from all the bodies. The RSF are burning villages & children alive in Darfur & Kordofan. Don’t stop talking about Sudan.
#KeepEyesOnSudan
Friendsss, our relatives fighting against the UAE-backed RSF in El-Fasher are saying they have almost reclaimed El-Fasher! The Sudanese government has left our liberators to fend for themselves, but they are still fighting tooth & nail for our homeland. This is a significant step
PLEASE KEEP SUDAN IN YOUR DUAS ON THIS BLESSED DAY OF 3ARAFAH!
MAY OUR LIBERATORS SUCCEED & OUR NATION BE FREED FROM THE TYRANNY OF THE RSF, THEN THE SAF 🤍 MAY WE TASTE THE FRUITS OF THIS DUNYA & THE AKHIRA
Long live the resistance of my people. When women take arms, the oppressors fall!
It’s heartbreaking that it’s come to this. Almost 3 decades of genocide on our ancestral land is too much. May Allah grant the women of Darfur victory & liberation.

My father was studying veterinary medicine when he was exiled for exposing the actions of the Sudanese government in Darfur in the 90s. He dreamed of transforming farm health in Sudan & they took that away from him. This will never not make my blood boil.
The Janjaweed/RSF are kidnapping the relatives of Sudanese expats and holding them for ransom. A member of my community in the states has experienced this firsthand; their brother, the family's breadwinner in Sudan, was kidnapped. Despite sending over USD $2000, they have still
My great uncle who I saw just a few months ago was killed yesterday by the RSF while trying to flee the country with his kids. The reason they killed him was because he put up a fight trying to protect his babies. The RSF is a literal duplicate of the IDF.
#KeepEyesOnSudan
MORE CIVILIANS HAVE BEEN KILLED IN ONE CITY (AL-GENEINA) IN DARFUR THAN IN THE ALL OF SUDAN SINCE THE START OF THE WAR IN APRIL, 2023. THE UAE BACKED RSF/JANJAWEED ARE NOW PLANNING AN INEVITABLE MASSACRE IN EL-FASHIR, DARFUR!! TALK ABOUT DARFUR. TALK ABOUT SUDAN.
#EYESONDARFUR
Women in Darfur have been collecting remnants of firewood left by the janjaweed/RSF after theyve burnt down their villages to resell for food. Some women have not sold anything in over 2 days and are starving.

Our only option left is to relocate our entire family to a neighboring country. If we do this, then we lose our family home. 4 living generations gone. Sudan has collapsed.
#KeepEyesOnSudan
Sudan's history is depressingly cyclical. Not sure who set this laughable precedent that the SAF/military are a part of the resistance, as they have consistently failed to meet the needs of the true resistance—the Sudanese civilians—even when civilians asked them to intervene.
The small city i grew up in has a population of 70,000. The average size of a city in the US is 50,000. Putting into perspective that this is only one of the many mines in the Congo exploits the labor of 40,000+ children is gut wrenching.
#CongoIsBleeding
This is what 40,000 child slaves look like while working in the cobalt mines of Congo. You don't need to upgrade your cellphone every year, maybe you shouldn't buy that electric car you were thinking about buying and vapes aren't good for our health anyway
Personally, I’m glad it’s is used to raise awareness about the prevailing violence all oppressed people face. I just wanted to shed some light on the significance of the phrase in our contemporary political space. Now that you know its importance to the Sudanese cause, please

Life is supposed to be so simple & kind in Sudan 😔❤️🩹 they take advantage of our kindness, then they destroy our land & claim that it’s theirs
People who are connected to a land don’t destroy it & it’s inhabitants
This is honestly what it feels like everyday seeing my people talk about the situation in Sudan & being a Darfuri refugee.. my whole life we’ve been showcasing & storytelling our genocide, but no one listened. It’s beyond disheartening because no one cares abt us enough.
He has never been to Sudan since. When my Grandmother (his mom) passed away I cried so much… mostly because my father never got to see her after he left Darfur when he was 16. This genocide has taken away so much from us. 3 generations of my family lost to genocide.
Someone ask me how I’m doing & I’m just like “worried if my family in Sudan are alive or not”
Like what else am I supposed to say? It’s the only thing that occupies my mind at any given moment.
@sulekha_amm
so beautiful, my heart is full 😭❤️ may Allah reward her and keep the both of you steadfast
may our sisterhood only bring us closer together for His sake, ameeen
They (RSF/Janjaweed) came into villages in Darfur on horseback & called us abeed before trapping our families in & burning down the village.
They ripped out the unborn fetuses from the wombs of mothers, then they SAd them to procreate children with Arab admixture.
They utilized
I don’t understand how the international community can continuously read quotes about the racist rhetoric, see videos like this where blatant racism is on display, and still plead with them. The RSF and their allied militias are supremacists. They’re terrorists. This is a repeat
Yes, and the majority of uranium deposits are found in Darfur & the Nuba Mountains, South Kordofan. The two regions of Sudan that are continuously under militia attacks, occupation, & genocide campaigns.

Sudan ranks top 5 African nations with Uranium. With over 6000 metric tons of it
880 BILLION litres or 5.5B barrels of oil
It also is the third largest producer of gold in Africa. 90+ tonnes.
So when you wonder why what’s happening in Sudan is happening, think about that.
WE ARE AT $25,565/$34,239 of the goal! Less than 10k to go. Ze is a prominent voice for Sudanese people in our digital community. She & her family are living in & trying to survive the Sudan war. HELP THEM REACH THEIR GOAL BY DONATING!!!

Oh my fuck my brain is gonna explode. I stated the military because that’s what our neighbors stated to me over the phone. They don’t know who committed the act. Please stop using this extremely traumatic experience to center your agenda for the SAF. You’re actually so fucking
Several times on the timeline I’ve seen RSF militia violations described as being conducted by the “military” or “soldiers”. This is extremely misleading; the follow up tweet to this posted way after the initial tweet went viral clarified he was assaulted by the RSF because they
Hey guys, I’m trying to set up a crowd fund for my Sudani friend based in Hungary. They are disabled & at the brink of homelessness. Can you send me crowd funding platforms supported in Europe aside from GFM?
I’ve received so many kind messages 🤍 I’m grateful that the stories I share (with the permission of my family) aren’t falling on deaf ears. I never have an agenda when I share these stories; I try to make them as authentic as possible when I paraphrase. My uncle is still in a
When my mom visited her grandparents in Jebel Mara in the 1990s, a soldier shot & killed one of her closest friends in front of her. He was only 16. Every single Darfuri I know can recall an instance where they’ve seen someone they know tortured & perish in front of them.
Let’s ride harder for Darfur.
She deserves all the peace in the world, and she deserves to thrive in her own richness of trees, gold and uranium.
Darfur deserves to be free, at peace, and once-again green.
Liberate Darfur.

I want to elevate this as well. Ze & her family have been living through this war under constant threat & displacement. Ze is also using their platform to raise awareness about the situation in our country. They are asking for help, please support them!
The majority of Sudanis come from relatively privileged backgrounds — in the sense that they haven’t experienced decades of genocide. Sudanis who address the interconnectedness of the SAF & RSF in our struggle are often refugees themselves or the descendants of refugees. 1/2
To the Sudanese diaspora
If you’re going to sit thousands of miles away from danger and tell the world that the Army and the RSF are the same; when you known damn well that’s not how the vast majority of Sudanese in Sudan feel. Then yes you are detached.
#KeepEyesOnSudan
Sudan took away so much from South Sudan for decades in exchange to establish a system based on Arab supremacy & distorted Islamism… however, the [failed] system strips all Sudanis of their livelihood. Anything that stems from Omar Al Bashirs dictatorship needs to be disposed of

“People are literally dying and you’re arguing about…” whole time it’s people are addressing why it’s harmful to deem one side as morally better bc of their histories of genocide
there will never be a collective reaction or response to what’s happening in Sudan.
My grandma literally fights racist Sudanis who utilizes superiority complex to pick on darker skin Sudanis
I remember when she told me to hold her gold before she went to the back of the bus to slap the shit out of 2 men on our way to Medani 😭🤣🤣
what moves ppl to ignorantly spew nonsense on their platforms like this?
if it’s semantics, the sudanese struggle is a proxy war & genocide. however, calling this a civil war or a proxy war won’t change the fact that our bloodshed is unjustifiable.
Unfortunately, what's happening in Sudan is a civil war , may Allah guide them to the haqq so that they stop killing each other. On the other hand, Palestinians are being slaughtered by cruel satanic Israel , it's completely two different wars ..
May Allah help all suffering
My grandfather was noted as the best electrician in our neighborhood in Qadarif. He was laid off w/o cause and forced to retire after Omar al-Bashir took office. His job was offered to one of his Arab Sudanese pupils.
We live like this for decades & twitter users have the vim
We reached the goal!!! TYSM 🤍 My heart is overwhelmed by the kindness.
I will close once the transfer pause is lifted inshAllah — there’s a few extra steps GFM requires for beneficiaries outside of non-GFM supported countries. Pls continue to support Ze
I don’t think people understand that you’ll be called abeed/slave more in Sudan than in any other arab or arab-adjacent country
Our problems are so bad… so down bad
Truly just want to dispel the notion that the wars for power in Sudan were predominantly driven by Islamic motivations. Darfur is a region that is over 99% Muslim and has a prominent Muslim history spanning from the 1500s. Yet, Darfuris are massacred in the millions. At its core,

The frequent use of certain terms is diminishing it’s significance to the Sudanese cause. The term is being co-opted without consideration of its historical context to Sudanese liberation.
The perpetrators behind the attack on my family, which included the waterboarding of my uncle, remain unidentified. Various accounts from neighbors suggest a potential intercommunity involvement, as our family in that area of Khartoum is are one of the few remaining with
Oh god, this is beyond heartbreaking… and people still have the audacity to to tell Sudanis they have no basis to denounce the SAF. Both the RSF & SAF completely disregard our lives. Policing Sudanis for their aversion towards the SAF is disgusting.

I will never stop being vocal about what’s happening in Sudan & you shouldn’t either, but there isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t genuinely feel uncomfortable in Sudani spaces. My body quite literally repulses in Sudani spaces. Sudanese people are so violently colorist,
Complexity is dependent on exposure. Antiblackness in Sudan (and its vital contribution to the destabilization of the country) is not a complex phenomenon. You just don’t know much about it & that’s okay. We can learn together.
You may think that bc I live in the states, then ofc my family here would receive the news last, but we actually had to relay the information to our relatives back in Sudan. It’s easier for Sudanese people to get a hold of relatives abroad than to get ahold of relatives in Sudan.
This auntie said it’s embarrassing that my Arabic is still bad, so I asked her to interpret the messages her husband keeps sending me in Arabic on FB messenger. Don’t piss me off this early.
