An hotfix was released for nodes to make it more smooth to connect and find peers. Another one for people having issues on MacOS and some Windows which is due to the wrong alignment of bytes during POW hash generation, a hotfix has been released shortly after. Sorry!

@TheOwlyEagle ASIC are outdated much faster, and replaced by always new devices with higher power consumption and bigger hashrate. But it doesn’t increase in miners # GPU/CPU prevent to be just a waste as they can be used for anything else.

@ClumsyCookies82 Find someone to make a FPGA bitstream 😎 and give me the results of its efficiency ! For ASICs, don’t ask too much 🤨 #XELIS $XEL is for the people, if you can’t buy a ASIC or FPGA like you can buy a CPU/GPU easily, we will be against.

@100x_plan @RedPandaMining We hope so :) As long it's egalitarian between every devices, we let them mine. If an ASIC or a FPGA is released and the hash/watt is the same ratio as gpu/cpu and is has the average same ROI, this will not destroy be a treat forto XELIS or any CPU/GPU miners.

@r0wie_eth A node can even run on a raspberry, all you need is 800 MB and 1 core (but 2 cores are recommended) The advantages are: - a better p2p network spread across the world - you're not depedent on someone else node - better privacy due to no potential IP tracking

@ucrual @IceRiverMiner Nothing wrong against ASIC manufacturers, if they can provide ASIC with in the range of 2-4x efficiency of CPU/GPU we’re totally fine with that, same for FPGAs. It’s only a threat if it’s ASIC only.
