Shen will always be good in SoloQ due to his R (most broken ability in the game). However, I feel like his fun aspects, e.g., early damage and mid-game tankiness, are gone. I have still not recovered from Patch 12.2 Empowered Q nerf. Without Shen, League is not fun for me.💜

Try not to climb in League challenge (impossible) 1) Pick a champion to OTP with <5% P&B rate 2) Play 1 ARAM and watch 1 replay before ranked 3) Take at least 5 minute breaks between games 4) Never play more than 5 games in a day 5) Sleep 8-9 hours every night

I invented a new playstyle for Shen. The build utilizes support items like Redemption for fast power spikes, and thus I call it RedempShen. I will upload an in-depth guide next week. - 50 Games played with a 74% winrate (37W 13L) - Gained ~350 LP in 4 days (Master to Challenger)

After a month of boycotting, Shen received 3 bugfixes to his W and some indirect buffs. Thanks to Riot Phroxzon for reaching out and communicating with me. I would have loved some R nerfs and skill expression buffs but let us be grateful for what we have. Boycott is now over.

Riot didn't learn from last summer when they randomly buffed Shen and then had to nerf him immediately. This champion is so strong already and players achieve high winrates while building and playing him completely suboptimally. (1/2)

TOP 5 Least fun champs to play: Left to right matters, imo league has a pretty good champ roster with mostly fun champs, but these champs have lower skill ceilings while also offering less reward compared to other champs & dont really give the same dopamine hit on montage plays

SHEN NERF ANALYSIS 🫡 FACT: In order to break even on the shield, you need to gain 150 BONUS HP per level, e.g. at lvl 11 (Mythic + Boots completed) you would need 1500 bonus hp. The only way to achieve this is Heartsteel rush (800 HP) + Overgrowth (~100HP) + Grasp/HS stacks. 🫥

I collaborated with RossBoomsocks to create the "Mathematically Correct" build for Shen. If you're evenly leveled with your opponents, you can kill anyone from 100% HP with one Extended Trade (6 Q-AAs). I'll be working on a competitive variation of this build soon™.

Patch 14.15 introduced a change to Spear of Shojin to benefit champs with AA-based spells (e.g. Rek'Sai). However, this change does not apply to Shen for some reason. Shen Q does not gain stacks or benefit from damage increase. @RiotPhroxzon @RiotPhreak Let me cook.

Every single viable bruiser/damage item on Shen gives AD. However, he only has AP scalings in his kit. Shen has no good AP items (expect Riftmaker into tanks but its still kinda troll). It feels bad that the 50% of the stats Shen buys are completely wasted. Just a thought.
