WSP detectives made an arrest today for Thursday’s fatal bicyclist hit and run in Eatonville. Reddit users identify a photographed broken car part as a mid 1980s Chevy truck headlight assembly. Local anonymous tip confirms and led to the arrest of a driver of an 1986 Chevy K-10.

Well...this is a first 🤷🏻‍♂️! Driver saw a small "black object" in the air while driving on I-5 and it struck the front of his car. He drove about 18 miles, stopped for gas, and found this. We recovered it and turned it over to @LakewoodPD .

While on patrol in east Pierce county, Trooper Thompson just happened to be in the right place at the right time and witnessed the plane make an emergency landing. WSP had no prior knowledge of the pilot’s complications. After 21 years with the patrol, this is a first for him.

Today, detachment 12 conducted a speed emphasis in the construction zone on I-5 at the Tacoma Dome. In a little bit more than an hour, 17 vehicles were stopped for speeds between 73 and 81 MPH in that 50 MPH zone. Please #slowdown and #staysafe ! #WeCare

Southbound 5 at Gravely Lake: Pickup Truck spun out and hit the left barrier, 3 more cars hit the truck, semi truck came through and ran over the white car sheering off the left side of the car. Zero injuries! Someone explain that one. The rear door was located 200ft south.
