Remember this: these tapes were thrown in the GARBAGE, luckily saved from oblivion and because of the connections @ThomasTankMerch worked years to make, they spent an unbearable about of money and time acquiring these, figuring out how to digitize them and released them for free.

Here's the whole Billy Mays commercial parody I filmed last year which @MrConductorFan edited. Billy Mays was a huge meme over a decade ago and I always wanted to find a perfect reason to impersonate him in a Thomas video. And so, his ad "Mighty Putty" became "Mighty Mac Putty"!

In 2016, Tom Jedski met a crew member with boxes of Thomas props. After, Tom made no attempt to follow up with them, stress the need to preserve the props or allow anyone else to approach them. In 2019, the crew member changed studios and the boxes were lost, presumed thrown out.

Last week, I stumbled upon this lot of Hornby Thomas items from the 1980s/90s. The original listing only featured the engines & green coaches, but the owner (a Thomas fan) kindly threw in the rolling stock. Also sold me the LNER coaches for $10 US each. 1/5

Dear Thomas Fans, These photos were taken c. 2016 and the props don't exist anymore. They were THROWN OUT. When earlier I said, "the sad story of gatekeeping", I didn't mean the photos, I meant props: gatekeeping these props allowed them to be discarded.

What you're seeing here is my best attempt to replicate a few scenes from memory of a "censored" version of "All At Sea" uploaded 15 years ago. Maybe watching this will jog some of your memories. While not impressive today, 15 years ago, I was literally crying of laughter. Enjoy.

When Awdry banged his own set to scare a kid and tell him "GET UR FINGA OUT", it was edited - there was only one cameraman there & the editor simply took a shot of him banging his old set to get it working & combined with a shot of him telling a youngster to "move back please".

Haven't got this going since 2007: the Thomas Ultimate Set "2nd Edition", though I call it 2nd Rate. Like all HiT products, it took something good and made it worse: less rolling stock (Thomas but no A&C??) no double track, and...Mighty Mac and green Bulgy...? Are you kidding me?
