The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “The performance of one Umrah until the next Umrah is an expiation for sins committed between them. And the Hajj that is accepted by Allah and performed properly has no reward other than Paradise.”
After the decision of canceling physical distancing measures in the Prophet’s Mosque and raising its capacity, a high number of female worshipers have performed Maghrib prayer, serviced by a high quality services.

184 scientific lessons were held in the Prophet’s Mosque during the first half of Ramadan, and broadcasting 91 of them on the Manarat Al-Haramain Platform.
The Operating Capacity of the Prophet's Mosque during the Precautionary Measures:
- The maximum capacity of the Masjid is 45000 people.
- In addition to 15000 people on the new western courtyards.
- The total capacity of the Prophet's Mosque during the month of Ramadan is 60000.
General President: It is good news that i'tikaaf will return in both the Masjid Al Haram in Mecca and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. It will be implemented in accordance with particular rules and conditions.

Conditions for Individuals Entering the Zamzam Filling Area:
1 - Children are not permitted to enter.
2 - Unclean containers are not allowed inside.
3 - Washing and performing ablution (wudu) inside the filling area is not allowed.

8000 Thermoses (containers) for providing
#ZamZam
water services at the Prophet's Mosque. The thermoses are constantly maintained at the washing, filling, and providing points.
In the past, the Prophet's Mosque used to be lightened at first by palm fronds. Then, oil lanterns which became the main source of light until the invention of electricity. After that, the source of lighting the Prophet's Mosque has changed to use electrical lamps.
The carpets of the Prophet’s Mosque are distinguished by their thickness and durability which not affected by excessive washing. In addition to their dense texture and color stability.
250 umbrellas are maintained and operated in and around the courtyard of Masjid an-Nabawi, 12 of which are inside the actual Mosque. They are controlled equally by an automatic system for protection from the sun and rain
His eminence Sheikh Dr. Salah bin Mohammed Al-Badir -in Friday Khutbah: "Whoever has not made up fasts of Ramadan then it is upon him to make them up. Whatever fasts in Ramadan that were missed is compulsory to make tup".
The Agency for the Affairs of The Prophet's Mosque announces new procedures for entry to the Rawdah as a result of the expected rush and for the safety of the worshipers
More than 14,280 liters of eco-sterilizers for the carpets and floors of the Prophet’s Mosque with its yards and facilities. Also, 180 liters of carpet perfume on Friday.

The Manuscripts Department includes more than 4,052 original manuscripts, 260,000 digital manuscripts, 250 Quranic Manuscripts and 4,600 illustrated manuscripts. These are considered rare and valuable manuscripts.
The carpets of Masjid an-Nabawi are woven specially for the Prophet’s Mosque, and are among the most luxurious, high quality locally manufactured carpets. They are distinguished by their thickness and durability against excessive use.
Zamzam water containers are cleaned on a daily basis to ensure that they are free of any impurities and pollutants. In addition to this, the allocated site for the mass storage of Zamzam water - which is situated in the western square [of the courtyard of the Prophet’s Mosque]
It is the holiest water on the earth, its story goes back thousands of years where it has been a source of drinking water for the pilgrims of the Sacred House of Allah and those who visit the Prophet's Mosque.

The doors of King Fahd Expansion were made with more than 1,600 m³ of (teak) wood, and every door have more than 1,500 engraved gilded pieces that were collected in a circular shape containing the name (Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah).

During the first quarter of the year 1444 AH, 356 field tours took place to offer various fragrances and perfumes to the visitors of the Prophet’s Mosque. These tours were conducted by the department which is responsible for perfuming the Prophet’s Mosque also.
