Physio shift today.. had a few tears .. with a covid patient I saw 3/52 ago and again today- we both had a tear at how much they have improved in that time 🙏❤️.

Working physio shift on wkends brings perspective. 22 patients, 10 plus wards, 15,000 steps, more gloves, aprons, gowns, visors and goggles than I would have imagined a year ago.

Learnt that a much loved pt I saw for 15 plus years has passed away this morning. At peace. He painted and gave me this which I treasure

It’s been a good start to the day. These 3 gifts, plus a physio telling me it was the training she and to that made the diff in her interview and subsequent promotion.. and the domestic telling me he didn’t think I was a manager as I was “ too nice”.Food for thought and gratitude
